What To Expect
The rich cultural and natural beauty of Waikīkī is highlighted in songs and dances of the life-giving streams that still flow into the heart of Waikīkī today, and the tender stories of Hawaiiʻs beloved monarchs, their love for their people and this famed place. Meet our kamaʻāina, our local islanders who will share with you some of the hana noʻeau (cultural arts) they grew up with here in Waikīkī. Kui lei – string a floral adornment perfect to wear for the evening’s festivities. Tatau Pasefika – tattoos can be found all throughout Polynesia. Learn about its significance and perhaps brave a temporary tattoo for the Pāʻina. And hula of course… Pāʻina Waikīkī is full of music and hula and so we invite everyone to join in.

5.00The full experience was amazing. We arrived early for VIP seating and were able to get a drink, some flower corsages, and a Polynesian tattoo. The shower was fantastic; filled with so much culture and information about how the dances became to be. The ultimate performance was the fire show by both the youngest and most talented fire performers in the world. Overall just the perfect night!

1.00The food was standard hotel food, nothing special. The show tells the city's history; it felt like a typical resort show for guests. The dancers were very professional. I wouldn't return or recommend it. I made the mistake of buying all tours separately, which costs more. It's better to buy them via the Hawaii Go Pass; it's much cheaper and saves a lot of money. The tours are overpriced for what they really are and offer.

5.00Amazing experience! The performances were absolutely gorgeous, and the storytelling throughout the luau was so beautiful and meaningful. The staff was wonderful, especially Dean, our server, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely sweet. We truly loved this experience, and the hotel did an amazing job creating such a beautiful atmosphere. The drinks and food were delicious, and the entire evening felt so special and memorable. I would watch this over and over again if I could. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Hawaiʻi! Thank you for making this such a special part of our trip!
