The rich cultural and natural beauty of Waikīkī is highlighted in songs and dances of the life-giving streams that still flow into the heart of Waikīkī today, and the tender stories of Hawaiiʻs beloved monarchs, their love for their people and this famed place. Meet our kamaʻāina, our local islanders who will share with you some of the hana noʻeau (cultural arts) they grew up with here in Waikīkī. Kui lei – string a floral adornment perfect to wear for the evening’s festivities. Tatau Pasefika – tattoos can be found all throughout Polynesia. The event was canceled. When will I get a refund? The organizers said they sent a cancel notice to Viator. Why did we need to travel to the event in order to be notified that it was cancelled?

Did the show only option. It was great but the write up for the option is deceptive. I was told to get there at 5:45pm but that meant I missed the lei making demo and temp tattoo options, etc. Also advertised at 3hrs but the show is 1hr15mins. Disappointing that the instructions I received were dodgy.

My wife and I had a lot of fun with the Luau. The dances and the food were great. The staff is very friendly.

We were told the luau would last from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, but unfortunately it ended early at around 7:30 pm. It rained for about 40 minutes during the event, and despite the weather interruption, the show was not extended or adjusted to compensate for the lost time. Because of the rain, we were not even able to finish our meal properly, which made the overall experience frustrating and incomplete. The show itself was also very short and did not meet our expectations, especially considering the high price we paid. For the cost, the value was simply not there. I would not recommend this luau, as there are definitely better shows elsewhere that offer a more complete and worthwhile experience.

The host, musicians, and performers were absolutely incredible. The show was amazing! I loved how the host would explain the history of where we are in Waikīkī and how the dances celebrate that history. We did the show only package, cost did feel high, but we arrived at 5:45, the show really started around 6:30-7:45. We had hoped to have drinks throughout and order from their cocktail menu, but our server never came back after giving us the original MaiTai. This is definitely more tailored to the Dinner&Show guests.

The show was pricey and didn't care for the rectangular table setup. The venue would be much more inviting with round tables.

Beautiful dinner, the hospitality was awesome. It was my birthday, so they treated me very well...it was a lot of excitement and joy last evening. Would definitely do it again.

The luau is held on the third floor of a hotel surrounded by high rise towers. Not a very pleasant setting for Hawaii. The stage was small and everything seemed cramped. The positive is that the singer was good and the dancing was good as well. The fire dance was disappointing. So I would not recommend this show.

We paid for upfront stage side, TICKETS. We arrived at 8:35 instead of 8:30 PM. There were no seats available in the front and when I asked the hostess why she was seating us near the back she said that all these people were early so don’t pay for the up close experience just get there early and you’ll be seated in the front!!! we overpaid for the event
