  Great show! They even have a performance platform halfway back so the back seating sections can see the dancers up close. Food was wonderful, too! Fish, pork, tofu & chicken for entrees. The creamiest macaroni salad I have ever tasted and a nice green salad. They also offer flower wristbands and a native tattoo’.

  Paina Waikiki luau at the Marriott. This evening is not cheap, but is absolutely fabulous! The evening starts at 5.15 - 8pm. We lined up at 4.45pm and were first in queue getting our pick on the spots to sit! Everyone is given a gorgeous fresh lei before being escorted to their seats. The VIP seats are basically the front half of the chairs/tables closest to the stage (and costs $30 extra). It also comes with three included drinks (cocktails, wine, beer, soft drinks). After we were seated and offered our first drink, we could go and get a fresh flower bracelet and / or an arm temporary tattoo. When the food was ready, table by table guests were taken up to the buffet. The food was amazing! Every single part of it. There were 4 different types of meat, salads, rice, macaroni and potato, bread rolls and desserts. As soon as everyone had food the show begins. The host/singer was polished and informative. He introduced the different performer groups with some background on their culture and history. The performers and costumes were fabulous! The musician group was amazing. This was a slick, professional performance that we really enjoyed and felt like we were given a little context around Hawaii as well. I could not recommend this performance and meal highly enough.   Scheduled this activity during my trip to Waikiki .. first Luau for me. This was one of the BEST experiences I have EVER attended. The singing (host), the band, ALL of the entertainment (dancers, fire performers) were Fantastic! Would see it again on another vacation to Waikiki.

  The staff was amazing from the start! Getting checked in was a breeze. Our waiter made sure we had our glasses full! The emcee was entertaining and I can’t say enough about the dancers! They were talented and fun to watch! I highly recommend this luau!

  We chose this luau as the best way to end our family time together in Hawaii. We were all greeted with a beautiful lei and some of us enjoyed getting the temporary tribal tattoos. The food was so delicious!!! The prime rib, shredded pork, purple sweet potatoes, lilikoi salad, and fresh pineapple were my favorite parts of the meal. It was all excellent. Our server was so kind - took extra care of my granddaughter who was having a 2 year old moment. The entertainment was AMAZING!!! I loved how the music and dance taught us more about the history of Hawaii and the surrounding islands. Overall it was a phenomenal experience and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

  We had to reschedule after rain, canceled the event two nights earlier… Incredibly pleased with all aspects of the luau. The food was excellent, the entertainment was great, and the pace of the show was perfect. It took a little while to get the buffet lines going but once they did, everything moved really quickly. The quality of the food was as expected, and there was plenty of it.

  We booked this luau after the Aulani luau was cancelled due to rain and we were unable to rebook there during our stay. We booked the Paina Waikiki Luau instead for my family of 8. We arrived at the luau just as a heavy downpour started causing the luau to be cancelled at the last minute. The manager and staff were absolutely amazing. I can't tell you how accommodating to the special needs of our group. One autistic teenager and another teen with a broken leg. Our autistic teenager was very upset of the cancellation. The staff went above and beyond to make assurances we could reschedule for the following day. We returned the next day to a beautiful evening with fabulous entertainment. The food was delicious. We are very happy with our luau experience at the Paina Waikiki Luau and will recommend it to everyone we know.

• I booked with an agent she booked wrong island after I spelled Maui waleila I want a refund u breed there ticket no good

  When you call on the phone and book with an agent with viator. Spell out that you’re on the island of Maui and would like to do the waleleia. Luau. And agent takes your 215.00 payment but books the honalooo one on Oahu. After spelling out Maui horrific the Marriott on Maui called from front desk call got escalated. U to supervisor for a refund and since then no refund. Niow I want call recordings to prove agent mistake or I am getting an attorney very disappointed please call me 1-54-215-3045 I want my money back did not get my luau.
