Villahermosa
We will move from the city of Villahermosa in Tabasco to Palenque in Chiapas to visit the archaeological site of the same name. The Palenque Archaeological Zone is located approximately 2 hours away from Villahermosa, it is surrounded by a jungle and is one of the most enigmatic archaeological sites in the country, being considered by the UNESCO as a cultural heritage of mankind. It is one of the best preserved Mayan cities which has a lot of recorded history. Your guide will tell you the story of Pakal, the red Reyna and warlike people. Walking through the courtyards and palaces is a unique experience, after this fascinating tour it is recommended to eat at a fine local restaurant, where the gastronomy is exquisite, back to Villahermosa, end of the tour!

3.00We loved our driver David and our guide pax who made the trip to the site. However, we were very disappointed that the museum was closed. It was supposed to be included with our fare and was supposed to be open. We choose this one because of the museum and it was more expensive than other ones without the museum.
