This immersive culinary journey goes beyond the basics. You will prepare a complete Sicilian menu from scratch using fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced locally across the island. Learn traditional techniques, family recipes, and the secrets behind Sicily’s most iconic dishes.
After cooking, sit down together to enjoy a Typical lunch/dinner perfectly paired with fine Sicilian wines — with generous refills included. This is an authentic, social and hands-on experience designed for travelers who want to taste the real Sicily.
Vegetarian guests are warmly welcomed, and a fully plant-based menu can be arranged upon request.

What To Expect
Your experience begins with a warm welcome and a glass of Sicilian wine as you take in the breathtaking city views. The chef will introduce you to the philosophy of Sicilian cuisine — simple ingredients, bold flavors, and recipes passed down through generations. This is not the usual pasta-making class. Together, you will prepare a complete Sicilian menu from scratch, learning traditional techniques and family secrets along the way. Throughout the class, you’ll hear stories about Palermo’s food culture, local markets, family traditions, and the deep connection between Sicilians and their land. Vegetarian and vegan options are available upon request, with delicious traditional dishes such as Pasta alla Norma, Parmigiana di melanzane, vegetable timballo, cauliflower meatballs, and other plant-based Sicilian specialties. After cooking, sit down together on the terrace to enjoy the meal you’ve prepared, paired with generous servings of Sicilian wine. Expect laughter, relaxed conversation, authentic flavors, and a genuine local atmosphere. Come hungry, leave happy — and slightly in love with Sicily.

Fabulous Sicilian intimate cooking experience!

5.00From the moment we met Fulvio who greeted us outside of his apartment ( because he could see us looking for his entrance;) he was friendly, relaxed and welcoming. Loved going to the nearby market to see all the fresh produce and goods and picking up some of our fresh ingredients. Easy walk back to his apartment where he welcomed us into his tasteful apartment with amazing views and warm atmosphere. The entire afternoon was lovely with our choice of music and active participation in preparing a 4 course meal with dessert, including spritz’s and wine (generously poured)! Food was delicious and catered to our liking even for our non seafood eater. Would highly recommend. Feel we have made a friend in Sicily and can’t wait to see Fulvio in our future visits!! Highly recommend. A highlight of our visit to Palermo for sure!!

5.00This was my first ever private cooking experience with my best friend. We immediately felt so warm and welcomed in Fulvio’s home. The view from his terrace was amazing and his house was welcoming. He gave us some history of the area and Italy itself which paired well with the cooking. The meals were to die for. A once in a lifetime experience! Will absolutely be booking again the next time I go back :)

5.00Our family of 14 people enjoyed this experience with Fulvio and his team at the start of our 10 day European vacation. It was one of the more memorable and enjoyable parts of our trip. We were able to spend time together while cooking, drinking wine, and eating at a very authentic Palermo location. Fulvio and his team were wonderful. Highly recommend.

5.00This is review is written for my sister who is computer challenged so I'm writing the review for her. My sister, her daughter, a cousin and her daughter traveled to Palermo and a day with Fulvio was one of their most memorable experiences. The food market tour was excellent: fun times spent picking out fresh produce and seafood to cook later that day with primo chef Fulvio! All dishes were delicious, but the most fun was cooking, drinking and generally enjoying time with the effervescent Fulvio. ONE HUNDRED percent recommend this experience, you will not be disappointed. Ciao!

5.00We spent a delightful evening helping to prepare a traditional Sicilian dinner with Fulvio, who is a wonderful ambassador of Sicilian culture. The prosecco and conversation were flowing, and the meal was outstanding. Tuna, in season, was seasoned with fresh garlic and mint. It was beyond tender and flavorful. We learned how to make passata using oh-so-fresh tomatoes, and more. We knew about Fulvio’s tours from our travel mates who had been with him on a previous trip. This says it all—retuning, happy, satisfied guests! We were welcomed to Fulvio’s beautiful home with fabulous views, and as this was our last night in Palermo, it made it even more special. A memory to last forever!

5.00My favorite part was seeing my adult children helping to cook the meal! It was fantastic to see how simple each recipe was and how easy it would be to recreate these delicious foods at home. It was our first full day in Sicily and it was beyond fantastic! Fulvio is so much fun and so welcoming. The views from his kitchen balcony were incredible and the memories made will last forever. The whole experience was above and beyond all my expectations. The food market tour was the best because it was very local and authentic, unlike the bigger markets we saw along the rest of our vacation. It was a peek into authentic Sicilian life. Fulvio's passion for cooking, entertaining and the Sicilian way of life was palpable. If in Palermo this is a "must do" experience!

5.00This was an Absolutely Amazing Authentic Experience. Our host made us feel right at home from the very beginning. We walked a few blocks got some great Italian bread and went back and learned how to make Eggplant Parmesan, real Italian red sauce, pasta, sea bass and tiramisu. I would highly recommend booking this cooking class.

5.00This was such a great experience! It was a joy to cook with the Fulvio and the sous chef, you could tell that they really enjoy what they do and they were super fun! They played great music and really made sure we enjoyed ourselves. It was us and another couple and they welcomed us both. Would definitely recommend you arrive with an empty stomach, we ate so much great food!
