Plaza de Mercado Paloquemao
One of the best ways to discover and experience a new culture it's through their plants and their food, the way they eat them and trade them. Paloquemao is one of the biggest in Colombia and will amaze you with its infinite colors and flavors.

This place is also a must. Another rare pearl of the city, to come into contact with the flavors and colors of Colombia. You will be amazed by the amount of fruit and vegetables available. The variety and flavors make it a must-see on the trip, even if at first glance it would not seem like a place to visit, seen from the outside. I suggest to arrive and leave with agreed taxi, given the scarcity of vehicles in the area (only buses, variable timetable). I would recommend, to fully enjoy it, a pre-organized guided tour, with a guide that allows you to appreciate everything you will see

I love visiting these places, which at first glance can be considered basic level and, therefore, snubbed. Very dense stands with fruit, meat, fish, pet food, flowers, spices, etc. The swarm of vendors and customers gives the sense of vivacity. One hour is enough.
