5.00We had the most fantastic specialty coffee tasting experience with Al and Julio! We all enjoy drinking coffee but knew very little about the nuances between all the different varieties and processes that go into producing it. We learned heaps, got to enjoy tasting the most delicious coffees, and loved the chance to spend a couple of hours with Al and Julio who are two of the nicest (and most knowledgeable!) chaps you’ll find. They were both so generous with their time and also recommendations for other awesome things to do in Panama (and of course where to find the best coffee in the city!). Thanks so much for a wonderful experience and we would recommend it without hesitation to anyone visiting Panama who enjoys coffee!

5.00Blown away by the team at Gato Solo and the incredible geisha coffee experience. We’d looked around for an authentic experience knowing that roasters do it best - and the team delivered. A pro-style coffee cupping really enhanced our knowledge and the after-coffee served up different ways blew us away. Would highly recommend for the coffee enthusiast.

5.00this experience was intense, informative, and fun! the owner is very passionate and the team is friendly and helpful. we learned a great deal about the coffee "lifecycle", from planting to harvesting to roasting to tasting. the blends provided for tasting were superb and we left with a large bag of goodies. the location is a little hard to find as the is no signage on the outside of their building, but a team member was floating around and guiding visitors.

5.00This is an exceptional tasting experience. Alan was very helpful and responsive for coordinating. And the coffee experience advisor was knowledgeable about the entire coffee value chain. He gave a thorough almost like a lecture of how different coffee processes work. Finishing with both pour over and expresso form of the Geisha with a great complexity and texture. Absolutely one of my favourite activities in Panama so far.

5.00If you are a Caffiend or if you just appreciate coffee you MUST experience this tour☕️. Firstly, I call them the Coffee Trinity 🪽 Gianca is the Designer. ☕️ Paulette is the Heart. 💞 Allan is the Business Mind. 🪶 I was met (more like rescued from being completely lost 🤣) by Paulette whose welcome is as warm and inviting as the coffee experience you are about to have. 🫂 Then I met the designer. There is hardly anything more exhilarating and beautiful to watch than someone who enjoys what they do with all their five senses. Gianca is a coffee conoisseur but beyond that he is a Coffee Designer. I have never been asked to think of coffee as a Colour 🌈. His experience engaged ALL my senses. 👁️👃👄 Then…there was the moment when I tasted the most perfect cup of coffee …and literally…tears came to my eyes🙊. I met The One ☕️. That roast was a ‘mistake’ Gianca said…so I taught him how that is said in Jamaica🇯🇲 “Buck up”- a beautiful mistake. Lo and Behold The Buc Up Geisha Coffee 🎶 *cue Ave Maria sung by a choir in heaven*.🎶 As I brew my coffee in the mornings now…the air is suffused with the memories of this unforgettable experience as the scent of coffee wafts through time and space just before I take that perfect sip…miles between that first sip and that last lessen like an isthmus… I feel immensely blessed to have met them all and had this experience.🦋 You must have this experience!
