5.00We had two wonderful tours with Giuseppe this week. The first was to the Pantalica nature preserve, where he was very knowledgeable about the flora and the route and timed the walk precisely to avoid the rain. We enjoyed our drive with him from Siracusa to the Reserve, talking about the history of the Reserve and giving us his perspective on life today in Sicily. We would definitely try to book a day or two with Giuseppe if we return to Sicily.

5.00Guiseppe lead our walk through the canyon. His extensive knowledge of history, geology, biodiversity and botany made our time interesting and educational. We spotted wild boar to wild orchids, picked oranges and soaked up the atmosphere of this special place.

5.00Gioseppe was nothing less than superb. He is superbly intelligent, informed, generous with his learning and teaching, shared so much about Italy, about the local culture and government, knew so much about Fauna and nature - and gave us a fabulus 2 days. We highly recommend. Luxury car (Mercedes benz) was rented, always on time, bathroom breaks - what can we say - really the best guide.
Another great experience with Guiseppe.

5.00First rate trip right from the pickup at the Temple of Apollo in the pouring rain where Guiseppe seemed to have arranged an umbrella vendor. The only person on the plaza in the deluge. The walking tour was superb but then as this was our second tour with Guiseppe (check out his cooking classes also) we know to expect an engaging experience. He could give a tour of a pothole on the road and make it fascinating. Oh, on this trip a side project was to find some wild orchids. We finally did including the one in the picture known as the "Naked Man". Any questions?

5.00We had a wonderful private tour of the Pantalica Reserve such an impressive and unique place, especially the ancient necropolis! The nature is absolutely beautiful, and the canyon is truly breathtaking . it’s really worth taking the time to explore. Our guide was super friendly and explained everything clearly and with passion. He spoke excellent English and was very patient, re-explaining whenever needed. We had a great time and highly recommend this experience!

A very kind and generous mate, who shared his detailed knowledge of natural and human history of the valley and beyond. Fun too. Thanks Guiseppe.

The place is super beautiful and must see if you are in Syracuse or Catania, and with hotel pick-up, it’s so easy to do. highly recommended!

5.00Wonderful day spent in Pantalica with our two guides Federica and Giuseppe, walking in the middle of a carpet of flowers with panoramic views of the necropolis. I still have the ringing of bees in my ears. We learned a lot about nature from Giuseppe, and about the history of the site and the people who used it, thanks to their knowledge. Through anecdotes and her beautiful voice, Federica has allowed us to approach the soul and culture of Sicily. Thank you for their kindness and generosity. My daughter has a great memory of the lunchtime picnic, feet in the creek, with the sound of the water.
