Ile de la Cite
Once at the meeting point, you will start your tour by exploring ile de la cite, the oldest settlement in Paris. Once known as Lutetia, this former Roman city was the predecessor of present-day Paris, from which the city grew outwards.
Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris
Step inside the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral (Interior visit unguided due to regulations), the world’s most beloved church and a masterpiece of medieval Gothic architecture. Newly restored after the 2019 fire, it remains one of Paris’ most enduring symbols.

5.00Alasdair was able to summarize the important historical events that makes Paris such a iconic city to visit. From the history of Notre Dame Cathedral and it's rebuild to the impact of Napoleon and his nephew Napoleon III that transformed the city to become a leading centre of culture and social reform. Alasdair was entertaining and knowledgeable and we do not hesitate taking a tour with him.

5.00We had a phenomenal tour guide named Jay. We did this tour the first night of our trip in Paris. This was a great way to get ourselves oriented to the city. Jay was able to provide us with history, answer our questions, and provide us with great recommendations for food and other places to visit. Highly recommend - especially the first day of your trip. If possible, ask for Jay C, you will not be disappointed 🎉

5.00I did this tour with my 70 year old mother and we had a great time. I appreciated that it gave us time inside the Notre Dame while also showing us the medieval alleys and plazas in the oldest part of the city. The guide was very knowledgeable and personal, Jay was absolutely wonderful and made our day. He made the history accessible and provided a foundation to understand things we saw later in our trip.

3.00Your guide was knowledgeable and told nice stories. The kids were a little bored, not her fault just kids being kids. Loved the area and just so nice to walk buy something and learn about it.
