Ile de la Cite
Once at the meeting point, you will start your tour by exploring ile de la cite, the oldest settlement in Paris. Once known as Lutetia, this former Roman city was the predecessor of present-day Paris, from which the city grew outwards.
Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris
Step inside the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral (Interior visit unguided due to regulations), the world’s most beloved church and a masterpiece of medieval Gothic architecture. Newly restored after the 2019 fire, it remains one of Paris’ most enduring symbols.

5.00This was an amazing experience. Jason was so knowledgeable and personable. He was considerate of the needs to the attendees. It was a hot Paris day for our tour but he made sure to get us to places of shade. He made history very interesting to my ten-year-old son who asked lots of questions but also not to watered down so the adults could enjoy the culture and history of Paris. This experience was recommended and I am so glad we did it!

5.00This turned out to be a private tour because the three other people didn’t show up. Our guide Jay waited for them for 15 minutes before starting the tour, which I thought was more than generous. Our first stop was Notre Dame where we had 20 minutes to go in by ourselves. It looked like several people inside had official guides and that would have been interesting but we opted not to do that. The line moved quickly at 9:30 am. Jay is French but spoke good English, and he often sought out places to stand or sit in the shade since the temp was 90+. I would suggest to the admin of Babylon, though, that they give the guides a sign or flag or something that better identifies them because the meeting place is also the meeting place of several other groups, making it difficult to pick out the Babylon guide. One guide texted me what he was wearing which was helpful.
