On our Secret Food Tour: Le Marais Paris, you'll enjoy a variety of classic French street foods starting with a viennoiserie/croissants, and collecting breads, then go and seat to enjoy a classic croque-monsieur in the very restaurant where Jim Morrison spent some of his time in Paris, along with discovering our mystery dish and cheese while enjoying a glass of red and white wine. Visiting Le Marais also means seeing the Jewish street of Paris and tasting some creamy Falafels. Then off to a world of sweetness for some incredible chocolates and colourful macarons, all of this crowned by a dessert to finish with style.
Our tour starts at the bustling heart of Le Marais near the famous rue de Rivoli, one of the main streets of the city. During the tour we will walk the old streets, cross the Place des Vosges and see some of the oldest medieval houses of Paris. You will realise how the locals live in this part of Paris and how the city's history influence has shaped its gastronomy.

We loved our food tour with Pinky in Le Marais! Six tastings - including pastry, chocolate, macarons, falafel, cheese and bread, another dessert and a lunch of salad and croc monsieur! All were delicious. Pinky did a great job explaining the history of the Le Marais neighborhood as well as the qualifications of the award winning bakers and chefs. A great experience overall - go hungry!!

Our guide Emmanuel was so knowledgeable not just about the food but also the montmartre area. Was such a great way to get to know the area but also taste a variety of French food and learn its history. We wish we did it sooner in our trip we so we knew all the best places.

Ingrid was amazing! The ability to walk through Paris makes it easier given how much food you eat. Food is excellent, views are excellent, and Ingrid was the best part of all of it.

We have a wonderful time with Antoine. He was very knowledgeable about the area we were in, the food we were eating, and was filled with stories that informed us with knowledge and insight. Although my husband and I have been to Paris many times, there were so many things we learned that we never knew about the foods we have been eating and what to look for in the future to ensure we get the best quality. From the croissant that we started with till our special treat at the end, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was well worth the money, and if it fits within a budget, totally worth it. There were just four of us who signed up for the tour, and they still took us, and when one person couldn’t make the trip due to illness, they accommodated and were understanding.
