5.00A really well-organized experience. If you opt-in for the taxi pickup (strongly recommended), you'll have a reliable way to get to the Horse Trust and back to the train station, which is super convenient. I went to Kagoshima just to have this experience, and am so glad I did! Seeing all of these free-roaming horses, retired from all walks of life, was so idyllic and centering. They all have such delightful personalities—some are bossy, others are gentle and sweet. But all special in their own way. Well worth going out of the city proper to visit! Hope you'll give it a try :)

5.00I visited Horse Trust during my trip to Kagoshima, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my stay! The experience felt really personal and calming. And those horses were so adorable!! I got to pet some of the horses, and it was so nice to just spend time with them. You can tell they’re really well taken care of, and the staff were amazing—super friendly and clearly passionate about what they do.
