5.00This is an easy 5-star review. First, given I was the only one signed up for this trip (rainy season still), they could have canceled. But they didn’t, and I was treated to what was basically a personal tour. My guides, Bethshiva and Juan Carlos) were amazing. They were both kind, personable, professional, and knowledgeable. They helped me feel comfortable right away, and before long, we were engaging in some friendly banter. For me, that takes the experience next level. Kudos in particular to Bethshiva. Her command of English, her knowledge of of the flora and fauna, and her enthusiasm helped the trip stand out.

5.00Our tour guide was local and very informative about la fortune and the local conservation efforts. He took his time to explain the plants and history and was very nice. The 500 steps down was a breeze and then swimming in the pool near the waterfall was wonderful and refreshing. The waterfall itself was breathtaking. Our guide told us about the steps back up we’re not too bad at all. It was definitely worth the trip!
