Peles Castle
Our first destination is the tourist town of Sinaia, where Peles Castle is located. Arrive in Sinaia, once an exclusive aristocratic resort, where we visit Peles Castle, the summer residence of the former Romanian royal family. Peles Castle is one of the most beautiful museums in Romania and was built in almost 40 years by King Charles 1.

We had a great day traveling with Marius. The trip was well-paced at each stop, and he allowed our small group to arrange our time as it suited us. Peleș Castle was a huge highlight, and we enjoyed having Marius stay with our group as our guide inside each attraction. He balanced the time he spent talking about the history, and was patient and informative. Each stop allowed for the purchase of snacks and we had the option for a longer meal stop. We did not have a forced stop for souvenir shopping, which was appreciated. All in all a great day!

We had nothing if not an amazing day!!! Fun, informative, and more than that we didn't stop smiling nor laughing the entire time. I 100% tell anyone and everyone to go. It's amazing, but the company you keep is even better.

We had an amazing day exploring with Bogdan! He had contacted us ahead of time to tell us Rasnov was under repair, and suggested a great alternative in the Cantacuzino castle. He picked us up exactly on time and took a group of 7 of us around for the day, with great conversation and guided touring throughout. This was a lot of fun and totally worth it to see a lot of major sites all in a day! Tip: bring a snack with you!
