What To Expect
The drive from Walvis Bay to Pelican Point Peninsula is typically a scenic 4x4 excursion. You will be driven by 4x4 vehicle along the Walvis Bay Lagoon and salt mines, where you can view pink salt lakes, passing by wildlife like flamingos and pelicans. The drive takes about an hour, with stops for photos and wildlife viewing. Upon reaching the Pelican Point Light house, you'll be greeted by thousands of Cape Fur Seals. Some time will be spent at an isolated beach where there is an abundance of birdlife. Snacks and drinks will be served at Pelican point.

Nothing was too much trouble and she showed us beautiful wildlife and we also had a lovely lunch on the beach with the flamingos and resident seals.
