WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES
The food experience tours are normally walking trails. It's advised for guests to wear comfortable shoes during the food experience.
BRING YOUR WATER BOTTLE
Water helps during the tour especially during hot weather. Its very easy to get thirsty in Malaysia.
UMBRELLA AND RAINCOAT
Malaysia's weather can be unpredictable. Please bring your own umbrella or raincoat if its raining or going to rain.
AVOID WEARING WHITE
There's nothing worse than spilling food on a white t-shirt. If you don't mind the stain, you can always wear white.

What To Expect
The 4-hour heritage and food trail takes place in the morning. The small group is to meet the guide at St.George's Church along Lebuh Farquhar. You will learning about the history of Georgetown as the group walks by several historical places and buildings such as the St.George's church, The Goddess of Mercy Temple, and Chinese Clan Houses. You will also stop by at least 3 food outlets, tasting at least 10 varieties of local and heritage food of Georgetown. Four important steps that you're encouraged to take to make this tour a memorable one: Chat with your guide: Your guide is born and bred in Penang and loves to chat and communicate. It's highly encouraged to have a question and answer session throughout the tour, talking about your likes and dislikes. This food trail is for you and this is to ensure that you have a good time. Be adventurous: Keep an open mind to try out new things as you walk through the core zone of the heritage area of Georgetown. Come hungry: Rest assured that you will be sinking in your teeth into delicious local food. This tour won't stop until you are full. 5.00Even though we have travelled to Penang numerous times over the years we learnt so much on this tour with the delightful Soraya. As a Penang local and licenced Tour Guide, Soraya gave us great insights into Penang's fascinating history, multi-culture, architecture and best of all - food! Over the course of the tour walking through George Town she fed us so much that we were bursting. Everything was delicious and her choices of meals to showcase Penang's diverse food culture were perfect. Soraya was interesting and engaging and font of information about Penang. She showed us so many sights and points of interest, well beyond what we expected. We had a great day and would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

4.00Went to this FLOWER MULAN NYONA CAFE in Penang. The place was so cosy and instagramable!!! A must go place. Food was not amazingly good. But it was not bad either. Should go for the experience!!!!

5.00We had such a wonderful tour with Lee. Lee was very well informed, personable and eager to make sure our experience was fabulous—which it was. We were introduced to the most amazing, traditional food and the various different cultures that reside within Georgetown. Lee was extremely knowledgeable in all of these areas. I thoroughly recommend Lee as your guide and also would recommend that you take this tour as soon as you arrive to get your bearings and understand the cultures, customs and the area that you are visiting.

5.00This was one of the nicest way to learn about the history and culture of Georgetown, Penang! Our guide, dear Lee Su Li, (Bruce Lee’s sister, of course) was very friendly and funny and gave us a really personalised tour. We are a foodie family and all of us, even our usually shy teenager stuffed ourselves to the max and got great local info about the ingredients used in the various variations of the dishes. Loved the whole experience! Highly recommend it, and especially her as a guide!
