What To Expect
An unforgettable learning experience in the world of perfume-making awaits our guests at Fragonard on the French Riviera in Cannes. We will unveil how a perfumer - or “nose” - masters the art of fragrance creation while learning about the history of the perfume. By the end of the workshop, our guests are able to compose their own eau de Cologne (100 ml) and customize it with aromatic notes, citrus notes and orange blossom. At the end of the course, each participant receives their bottle in a special pouch, a Fragonard “apprentice” apron, their diploma signed and a summary of their composition. Length: 1:30

5.00This was an Amazing experience. The instructor was very knowledgeable about the history, as well as how perfume is made. She was very patient with everyone in the class and gave very detailed information. We were all able to create scents just for us, which were absolutely delightful. She was absolutely phenomenal. She even recommended a pastry shop to taste delicious goodoes after the course. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this class during your time in Cannes.

4.00Spent two hours learning about the different levels of perfumeries. Corrine taught us how to make the base and then add scents to make our own perfume. We learned an awful lot in 2 hours. We received a 10.00 voucher for the shop downstairs and were able to keep our homemade perfume and aprons along with a booklet to expalin the different scents. It was a lot of fun!

5.00Michelle was very informative and made the workshop very interesting. She explained the scents we were smelling and what different shades were coming through as the oil dissipated. Making our own was difficult as we really still had no idea what we were doing and the scent wasn’t what we wanted, but overall this experience was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

I’m so glad I went with this perfume workshop compared to other ones I saw advertised - not only is it led by a professor, making it truly educational, but the included apron, bag, and certificate really add to the experience. The perfume bottle is a nice glass one of 100mL, large yet perfect for the plane ride home! The set up was extremely organized and all of our stations were prepared before we arrived. There was no rush either. My visit ended up being 2 hours, but you were allowed to go at your own pace. I’d recommend this to anyone! I learned so much about perfume and our olfactory senses, plus had a lot of fun designing my own creation!

5.00I loved my workshop at FRAGONARD with Michelle. I was fortunate to be the only student in the workshop and I was given a special learning experience about perfume. Who knew it was so complicated? I didn't, but Michelle took me "by the hand" and I learned so much. In addition to smelling the essence of d'orange, de citron, de bergamot, de madarine, de neroli ... I was able to, with Michelle's help, create my own perfume. Thank you to everyone at FRAGONARD. I'll be back. Of course, I purchased a lot. ☺️ Merci.
