  This was one of the most amazing trips we’ve ever taken. Our group included 5 couples and 4 singles — 7 men and 7 women from 9 countries (I counted our Kiwi living in London as two!). Ages ranged from the 20s to the 70s, and by the end, we all felt like lifelong friends. We chose Experience Jordan because their program looked challenging but not grueling — and it was exactly that. From our first inquiry, Shushan was wonderfully responsive, answering all our questions. They arranged a smooth pickup from our hotel. Our guide, Motaz, was exceptional: warm, knowledgeable, and endlessly patient. He built instant rapport with the group, helped my wife through some of the steeper sections, and kept everyone safe, hydrated, and well-fed. His commentary on geology, geography, and history turned every stop into a lesson — like showing how the Bedouins make cosmetics from stones and soap from plants. The itinerary was perfectly paced. Each day offered incredible views and rewarding hikes, followed by comfortable, well-organized camps. Our tents were ready on arrival, with real pillows, thick foam mattresses, and warm blankets — quite cozy in the 12–15°C nights of late September. After changing out of hiking gear, we’d relax with tea around the campfire and watch the sunset — pure magic. Meals were simple but fresh and satisfying. Every day began with breakfast and a “build-your-own” lunch bag, and ended with hearty dinners of soup, salad, and chicken or vegetable mains. Fresh fruit and vegetables were always available, and we all appreciated the tea and treats (dates, cookies) served along the trail. Our luggage was always waiting for us at camp, allowing us to hike light each day. Everything ran flawlessly. The Experience(d) Jordan team has their logistics perfected — nothing ever felt rushed or uncertain. This trip exceeded our highest expectations and stands out as one of the highlights of our travels (we’ve visited over 80 countries). I would recommend this trip without hesitation to anyone in decent shape. I was the oldest in our group (age 70), and running 4 miles a few times a week was good preparation. This group was exceptional. Nobody knew anyone else at the start, but the camaraderie that developed was truly special. I cannot say that Experience Jordan created all of that, but they certainly attracted the right people for the right reasons and gave us the right environment to make that happen. (Luck? Maybe, but luck favors the prepared.) It was a truly unforgettable adventure — one we’ll be talking about for years to come.

  Jordan is one of the most beautiful countries I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. The people, history, culture and food were amazing. The geography was breathtaking, specifically Petra and Wadi Rum. I will be recommending this tour to everyone I know – especially those with an appreciation for archaeology, ancient history or the Abrahamic religions. Our guide, Motaz Zghoul, was extraordinary, consistently going above and beyond what I expected. To refer to Motaz as a guide feels reductive, as he is incredibly well-informed on a wide range of topics, witty, hospitable and, by the end of our trip, became a member of our family. I must warn that visitors will be leaving Jordan 5 lbs heavier, as the food is delicious and the people are so kind as to feed you wherever you go!

  Great trip. My guide Furat Mai and driver Abed were terrific. Because of my timing I actually got a custom trip involving cycling from the Dana Reserve to Little Petra, hiking from Little Petra to Petra, Cycling from Petra to Wadi Rum, and a tour of Wadi Rum with a Bedouin guide.

  We just came back from a 6-day trip from Jordan. We just want to thank the whole team of AdventureJordan for such a wonderful trip we had in Jordan. The itinerary made by Dania is carefully planned; the tour guide Mahmood Attal is energetic, honest and has a good sense of humor; the driver Mansour is punctual. The Jordanians are very friendly. The Petra is amazing and shocking. We have learned a great deal about their culture and religion. We highly recommend Adventure Jordan to anyone interested.

  We went on this trek as a family, bringing our thirteen year old son with us. From the moment we set foot in Jordan until we left the impeccable orchestration of transportation, accommodations, the trek itinerary… allowed for a stress free, incredible experience. Our expert guide Mahmood, the Bedouin Family who took care of camp accommodations & food-their son as our trek guide through the wilderness (accompanied by their donkey-carrying extra water & supplies)…allowed us to feel safe, cared for, informed, entertained and nourished. The terrain of the trek was challenging, the views stunning, the historical sites beyond any pictures, the people so kind & warm… and the trip absolutely worth it. We highly recommend this company, traveling to this country and experiencing first hand its beauty, history, & culture.   I cannot say enough good things about Experience Jordan Adventures. I worked with them to plan a private trip for my husband's 50th birthday that centered on the Dana to Petra hike with additional short trips to Wadi Rum, Aqaba, the Dead Sea, and Jerash. The planning experience was seamless; Raisa was responsive and helpful in her suggestions. She even incorporated a day of SCUBA diving. The trip itself was incredible. Our trekking guide, Mutaz, was one amazing. He was extremely knowledgable, personable, and kind, with a great sense of humor. He set the trekking pace based on our preferences and had an amazing social sense about when we wanted to chat and when we needed a break. He is definitely the best guide we have ever worked with. The Bedouin family who supported our hike was fantastic. Each day we arrived to a beautiful test and some of the best food I have ever eaten. Everyone made us feel so welcome and cared for. Everyone associated with Experience Jordan was 100 percent reliable. Each person who we were supposed to meet was exactly where they said they would be, on time or early. Our two drivers Muhammad and Hamzeh were friendly and chatty. We will never forget our trip to Jordan and all the wonderful people we met!

  My wife and I had a fantastic experience - definitely thanks to Sayel and Experience Jordan. Sayel treated us like family - guiding us through popular attractions, helping us barter with the locals and taking us to incredible authentic restaurants! We felt very lucky to have a tour guide and now a friend like Sayel. His sincerity and deep knowledge of the history and culture was really appreciated. Jordan will forever be a fantastic memory for us.
