What To Expect
Welcome to Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan! (Ahlan Wa Sahlan) You have now arrived at Queen Alia International Airport, the main and largest airport in Jordan. Our English speaking driver will pick you up, based on the time of your flight arrival you have provided us. He will drive along the Desert Highway, taking 2.40 hour of driving to the “Red Rose City” and one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Petra. Prepare yourself for a lot of walking at the sand and rocks since this tour will take maximum of 4 hours depending on your walking pace.
Petra
Upon arrival in Petra, a local guide will meet you at the Petra visitor center (if selected). He/she will guide you for 2.5 hours. Petra is the biggest attraction of Jordan and was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundation of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. Walk through the canyon or so called Siq to see the most beautiful monument: The Treasury Building rising over 140 feet and continue via the Street Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. You will have a free time after to explore on your own. After visiting the sites you will be met by our driver at the Visitor’s Center. That ends your Petra visit and tour in Jordan.

From the moment he picked us up, he made sure every minute of our trip was meaningful and memorable. He took us all the way to Petra, helped us manage our limited time perfectly, and ensured we saw as much as possible without ever feeling rushed. Along the way, he introduced us to delicious local dishes like mansaf and kunafa, shared beautiful and heartfelt stories from his life, and gave us deep insights into the history and culture of Jordan and Petra. You could tell how much he loves his country — and by the end of the trip, we were in love with it too. Truly a 10/10 experience. We highly recommend Brother Oqbah for any travel needs you have in Jordan — whether you’re here for a day or a week. May God bless him for his kindness, knowledge, and hospitality.

5.00Perfect trip, pickup was quick, easy, and on time. Smooth ride to Petra. Mansour was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We were allowed to explore the Petra site for as long as we wanted which was awesome, spent 6 hours or so there. All around excellent day!
