What To Expect

Join us for a delightful pierogi cooking class at a local restaurant near the city center! Under our guidance, you'll craft this traditional dish with ease and joy, all while immersing yourself in tales of Polish culinary history and culture. Gather practical tips from our own grandmothers' kitchens and relish a memorable time. In this activity, you will have the opportunity to create pierogi from start to finish. Firstly, you will make a dough entirely from scratch. Next, you will take charge of preparing two different fillings- savory and sweet. After filling and boiling the pierogi to perfection, you will have the pleasure of savoring and enjoying your homemade delicacies accompanied by a local beer or a glass of wine. The class will be led by our passionate, local instructors, who are eager to share their family secrets for creating the perfect pierogi and guide you through each step. No need to fear if you're new to cooking; this experience welcomes all, from aspiring chefs to kitchen novices. You'll receive everything necessary – materials, equipment, guidance – to triumph. Thanks to our grandmother's secret techniques, our pierogi are always a hit!

Olga was very nice and made us welcomed! She walked us through all the steps of preparing pierogies and her recipe. She stayed after and chatted with us more about our trip and Poland. We made two types of pierogies.

Sylwia was absolutely amazing! The whole pierogi-making experience was so much fun, and sitting down to a delicious lunch afterward was the perfect highlight. Sylwia is incredibly open and curious, making the conversation just as good as the food. Highly recommend!

We were only the two of us so if felt like Magda gave us private cooking lesson. She shared a lot of tips with us about dumplings, her own life, Krakau,... We had the best time and the dumplings were amazing! 10/10 for Magda and her cooking class!

I love joining local cookery classes whenever I’m in a new place, and this pierogi making class with Sylwia did not disappoint. we were in a small group and Sylwia’s gentle presence made it easy for me to feel welcomed and comfortable despite attending solo. the recipe is so simple that if I were more cynical I might be thinking “I could just google the recipe or watch a Youtube video, no need to pay for a class!”, but then there were little anecdotes Sylwia shared of her family making tons of these mighty dumplings over many years, and simple, lovely chats we had as a group, that made the experience truly unique. and pierogies were of course scrumptious. what more can I ask for?

This was an excellent experience! Intimate and laid back, and genuinely informative too! Our group was led by Sylwia and she was excellent, she explained everything well and also made the class fun. I would highly recommend this experience and Sylwia as a teacher!

We were very happy with this experience. Me, my husband, and our two children aged 7 and 11 had a great time. Magda F was very kind, she taught unhurriedly and gently even to children. The pierrogi turned out delicious!
