Enjoy Pilsen, the world capital of beer and European capital of culture 2015. Program starts at 11am at U Salzmannů pub in the city center. Price Includes local guide service for the whole program, guided tour of the city center, two-course lunch with one drink one of the renowned restaurants in the city center, entrance fee for the tour of the Pilsner Urquell brewery including beer tasting. Bring a sweater or light jacket to the brewery cellars, beer tasting for guests 18 years old and over. 4.00We had a nice guide through Pilsen. She told not only historical facts but also fun facts. She consulted with us what we wanted to see and the layout of the day. A delicious lunch included a beer from the best beer tapper 2022 in the Czech Republic. She took us to the brewery afterwards. There we were given a tour where there was only time for tight facts, a less inspiring story. We had a very nice day and you can see all the sights in Pilsen in 1 day.

5.00It was a great tour! Pilsen is a nice town, and we got a great sense of the city by talking to our guide Trish, who's originally from there. We originally signed up for the private tour largely because it included the brewery tour, which was sold out separately. We found that portion to be above-average interesting as far as brewery tours go, in part because of the historical nature of the building. They aren't kidding about the temperature of the cellars -- it's cold down there! The restaurant Trish chose for lunch at the end was great. We'd recommend this tour for anyone who likes good food and beer and learning about the Czech Republic!

4.00The guide was great. We just wish we could get some more information beforehand. We had lunch at 12 o'clock, maybe too early for us. We had had a good breakfast before and thought there was something to eat around 3pm. So the tour is recommended, but more information in advance would be desirable. Admission to the churches is confusing, since admission is free anyway. So you don't have an advantage with this ticket. The paid part of the church was not included. The brewery tour was also great, but the beer tasting is excessive. You get a glass of beer on site.

5.00We only had 1 full day to spend in Pilsen so this tour seemed ideal to hit the highlights. We arrived 10 minutes early at the meeting point and our guide, Lucy, was there waiting for us. First she brought us to the city hall to show us a scale model of the city and give us an overview the history of Pilsen of what we would be seeing that day. We visited the beautiful and recently restored cathedral (tallest in the Czech Republic), two synagogues, the parks where the city wall once stood among other things. We stopped for a delicious, authentic Czech lunch with some Pilsner Urquell of course! Then on to the Pilsner Urquell Brewery where Lucy explained the history of the brewery, the brewing process, and showed us the old and new brew kettle buildings. After this we went down to the cellar and sampled some delicious open-fermented, unfiltered and un-pasteurized beer. Lucy, was engaging, answered all of our questions, and her dinner recommendation was spot on as well. Definitely recommend this tour.

4.00As group of nine technically interested engineers we’ve booked the tour, to learn about modern brewing, but also to snuffle a little bit on the significant history of Pilsen. We were very happy to meet Veronika as tour guide. She had all the answers to our questions. With her perfect German and extensive knowledge of Pilsen’s history, we were able to gain a very good overview to all topics. Unfortunately our technical interests were not satisfied. All the lines at the brewery’s production plant did not work. Only the can filling line was running, but far away from the visitor access.

4.00We had a nice tour with the group of friends (7 boys about 21 years) from 11:00 am along the highlights of Pilsen. Then a lunch (inclusive) in the restaurant of the brewery, well eaten. At 14:45 the tour started through the brewery, the English of our guide could be better as far as we are concerned. The filling process of the bottles etc. was at a standstill at the time of the tour because cleaning was being done, this made it a lot less impressive in our opinion. Very unfortunate, otherwise a nice day. Around 16:30 we walked out of the brewery again with a beer glass as a souvenir (included). Price/quality ratio was very good, absolutely recommended!
