The trip itself was excellent. The guides were very informative and the BBQ meal really good. Seeing the Pinnacles was excellent and when it went dark we had the BBQ. Plenty to eat / drink and the food was good. The guides gave out information on what we could see throughout the trip and were happy to answer questions. We unfortunately couldn’t see the stars at the pinnacles as it was cloudy & a bit rainy but they did stop enroute back as the clouds cleared a little. The only negative was the ac mini bus that we were in. It would be fine for children but for adults the leg room was tight. If you were unfortunately over the wheel hub you would have your knees up the whole trip. They do seem to have more than one minibus so it depends on numbers which one you get.

The pinnacles were amazing and the tour had plenty of time to explore and photograph the closest ones to where we stopped. The route to and from the stop enabled a feel for the quantity of them to be obtained. The food was good and the guides were very knowledgeable on the stars and pointed out the key ones. Overall a fantastic trip

It was very good and I would recommend it. Neil was very knowlegeable. Sorry Neil you need a new van with better air com , better suspension and more roomy seats. I found the journey uncomfortable and we were packed in. More like a back packers trip. That being said you were fab and i would recommend the pinnacles and you but not the van

Beautiful scenery at the Pinnacles and several interesting stops on the way up. Who would have thought going down a sand dune sitting on a snow board would have been so much fun. Food from the bbq great and very interesting info on stars and planets. Sam our guide was a top bloke and he liked cricket too - what more could you ask? Excellent trip.

Leighton took excellent care of us from pickup through drop off. He managed it all, from commentary to special diets to even the best bathrooms. Everything is taken care of for you so you can relax and enjoy. The passionate astronomer was interesting and informative and showed me Saturn's rings and Alpha Centauri through his telescope. The complementary lesson on astral photography with your phone was much needed and much appreciated.

We had a great time on this tour. We had Gavin as our tour guide who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Sand boarding was great fun and the stars were beautiful. Watching the sun go down over the Pinnacles was breathtaking. The food was great too.

I'm from the east coast USA, due to the amount of light pollution I don't get to see a lot of stars in the sky too often. This was a must due for me just for the stars. That's said watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean was gorgeous as well. The sand dunes were really quite something as well and it was also nice to dip my toes in the Indian Ocean (My 4th Ocean) even if only briefly. The guides were great and there was plenty of food. Well worth the price.
