This was a wonderful experience for me. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw Saturns rings and Jupiter through a telescope! It felt very emotional and uplifting. Pinnacle Desert was amazingly beautiful. And the sandboarding is a fun activity.

Stars don’t always show. But we still had a beautiful sunset. Interesting places and a bit of fun with the sand boarding so there was something for the whole family to enjoy.

What an amazing experience! The staff was so organised, fun and knowledgeable. The bbq was lovely but the best part was the star gazing experience. We were lucky because there was no moon which allowed extra visibility of constellations. Grazie Adrian!

The trip was uninformative, we expected mutch more. There were no beach walk with information on plants. The star gazing was so quick with no information about the stars, if you didnt ask. We had to hover around the big telescope and ask for infomation and where it was pointing the hole time. We got normal binoculars and told to just look up, again no information sahred. Ths was dissapointing for a $1000. We where expecting a much more informative stargazing experiance, as it was advertized as just that. The tour opperators was not equiped for a windy day or night, and fell short in making this an unforgetable experience.

Go with the flow. Stopped at a very good pub for those who didn’t want to do the sand boarding, good views

I recommend a self guided tour of the desert as it was quite beautiful. The tour included an “authentic Aussie dinner” which was actually hot dogs. The sunset was beautiful, but all sunsets are. Stars were brilliant, but they were brilliant without the tour. Their telescope could not pick up Saturn. Leighton blamed the wind, however I’ve peered through portable high powered telescopes, and what they used was not. Finally, Leighton spent more time pushing his conspiracies about gun control and renewable energy than giving us information.

It was a lovely trip with lots to explore and learn! We stopped by the beautiful Gilderton, followed by Nilgen Lookout and then Pinnacles for a wonderful stargazing activity. The only downside is the vegetarian/halal options for the dinner was not much. Other than that, Erin and Casper was friendly and lovely too!

One of the best tours I've been on! Very well planned, with great balance between time on the road and stops. There's plenty of opportunities to refill your water bottle and go to the toilet. I enjoyed each stop - the sand dunes are a blast and our guides were great at reassuring us about sand-boarding: it looks scary but it's a lot of fun! Gavin is a terrific guide and driver: kind, personable, and very knowledgeable about the history, geography, and geology of the places we visited. He's also respectfully familiar with the Indigenous knowledge of those areas. Sam, the other guide, is a lot of fun! The mini bus was comfortable to drive in, and I was blessed with very nice travel companions. We learnt about the history and vegetation of the beautiful bays we stopped at, before heading to the Pinnacles desert - an unforgettable experience! We had one hour to wander on our own, which I appreciated, before being welcomed with a beautiful dinner with appetizers, salads, tons of veggies, BBQ, cold and hot drinks - calling it a picnic is reductive! Once the dark kicked in, we started stargazing guided by the knowledgeable Gavin - everything was provided to get the best out of this experience: explanations, binoculars, and a telescope. We spotted a lot of shooting stars without the need of any aids - with no light pollution, the sky was ours to enjoy :) We spent a lot of time stargazing before heading back to Perth, where we arrived around 11 pm, perfectly on time. P.S. extra points to Gavin for having the best music playlist on the bus!
