The reason we chose this trip was so we could see the Milky Way ,to find out on reaching the view point that it isn’t possible at this time of year was devastating …. I think if you are going to promote seeing it , you should also tell us when we can see it . The BBQ was nice, but unfortunately by the time we got to the table there was sausages and potato salad left , not all of this can be placed at the hands of the organisers as some people were just greedy ! My partner who doesn’t drink only found one bottle of lemonade and there were several kids on our trip , so that was disappointing, I am a wine drinker and found plenty! However, the sunset was spectacular and the driver Sam was lovely and engaging , Gavin the star guy was very knowledgeable regarding the stars and galaxy etc … we did see Mercury, Venus and the Seven Sisters so not all was lost. We were also provided with binoculars and fly nets(which were a god send ) ! It’s a long day getting back to our hotel around 23.45 , having set off at 1.30. Our trip was 20th November , 2024 and although the tour set off with the belief that it would be overcast , the clouds cleared to give us a star packed sky . The desert was a lovely temp at night and the flies disappeared , and there was something magical about sitting in the dark, in the desert, just looking up at a star packed sky .

Emma our driver was great, very easy to warm to and very knowledgeable. The most amazing part was seeing Saturn through the telescope 😄

Amazing experience spending the night at the desert. The tour was well organised with some nice touches, e.g. the telescope and photgraphy lesson. Once in a lifetime Tip: dress warm!

Tour guides (drivers) were very knowledgeable about Perth and the Pinnacles including the stars. Setup was great and Emma did a great job of getting us all home.
