Escape San Juan and join us for a trip to the beautiful town of Loiza Pinones. Prepare to experience a new aspect of puerto rico as we venture beyond city limits. Known as fried fritter capitol Pinones is the go to destination for a local vibes , great music, cultural dance and delicious African Puerto Rican food. The tour starts at the house of Roberto Clemente where we can see photos of Loiza, artifacts left behind from tainos natives, and African Puerto Rican Inspired art. Finishing up we will take the board walk / horse trail to a local bar where each guest will get a welcoming shot of Puerto Rican Rum and sample food. Participants in our tour group also have special drink offers with participation kiosk. Depending on the pace of group and the day of the tour,we aim to stop at 3-5 locations in pinones this includes walking the board walk and beach so please bring a bathing suit and towel. (On weekends it gets very busy in pinones which can limit the number of spots visited.)

5.00Booked This Excursion For A Little Mom Daughter/ Birthday Trip. Loved Every Second Of It. Went To The Lake We Were Greeted by Isail He Is The Nicest Most Kindest Person We Met On Our Trip To PR Very Helpful And Talkactive He Made The Day Go By So Fast. We Were Greeted With Water And Some Rum Cocktails Which Was Nice With The Hot Weather. Went To Piñones Got Some Awesome Food He Was Very Helpful With The Food Answering All Our Questions. Walked By The Beach He Even Took Amazing Photos Of Us And Dropped Us Off Back At Our Hotel. Will Be Back Next Year And Booking Again

5.00This food and culture tour truly exceeded my expectations and was one of the highlights of our time in Puerto Rico. It offered an incredible introduction to Afro–Puerto Rican cuisine and culture in a way that felt authentic, immersive, and genuinely meaningful. It was my first time visiting this part of the island and its beaches, and I’m so glad we experienced it this way. Our tour guide was extraordinary—engaging, friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. The small group size made a huge difference. There was plenty of food to go around, and everything we tasted was absolutely amazing. From flavorful Afro–Puerto Rican street food to locally crafted rum shots, every stop felt thoughtfully curated and delicious. The food alone would make this tour worthwhile. The three beach stops were the perfect touch. This allowed us to cool off, unwind, and soak in the beauty of the coastline. At one stop, we purchased mojitos from a local vendor—and they were some of the best we’ve had. It added to the authentic, community-centered feel of the entire experience. If you’re a foodie who loves learning about different cultures—or if you simply want an authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience—this tour is a must. It’s more than just a food tour; it’s a celebration of Afro–Puerto Rican heritage, community, and flavor. Highly recommend!

1.00This was a horrible tour that my friends and I ended up leaving early. The van we were transported in did not have a/c or working windows, the food we were given was not worth eating at all, and the alcohol was cheap (and we would have had to pay for most of it). Our guide appeared visibly high, and the area was not one that we thought most tourists would enjoy. We got our own transportation back to SJ, and we've requested a partial refund of the high tour cost, with no response. Do not waste your money on this experience.

5.00Easy was FANTASTIC! This tour did not disappoint. He knew the local spots for great drinks and food. Let us take our time and enjoy the scenery. Eazy was engaging and allowed us to just be us! During our stops he catered to us like he knew us forever, giving u advice on other things to do. Book this with Eazy he is absolutely lovable! 10/10

3.00It was an okay experience overall, but not quite what I was hoping for. There was a beach stop, but we didn’t get enough time there to actually swim or relax and enjoy it, which was a bit disappointing. The bar crawl itself had decent energy, and the group was fun, but nothing particularly stood out. They did a good job communicating about a few unexpected issues that came up, which I appreciated—but those hiccups still affected the overall vibe. Also, the “included food” was just a small appetizer platter for the whole group (about 10 people), so definitely more of a light snack than a real meal. If you’re going in with laid-back expectations and just looking for a casual night out, it could still be enjoyable—but it wasn’t quite what I expected.
