Insanely beautiful area. Well organized and well-proven. Nice also bit with boat. Walking a lot of stairs. Have taken the H route from entrance 2 where you last have the big west fall.

To have lunch, there is a long wait at the kiosks and the shaded eating area is limited, so I recommend bringing at least water if not the entire lunch from home.

The park is a marvel, but it should have shuttle buses to nearby places where the hotels are located. If you are not staying inside, you have no way to go to or come from the park.

We arrived at 7am. East parking at that time at Entrance 1. We followed trail C. We were fortunate to have perfect weather after heavy rain the previous two days. So the waterfalls were amazing. The paths had all dried out, and we were early enough to miss most of the crowds. We took dozens of stunning photos. We thoroughly recommend Plitvice Lakes National Park.

This is an amazingly beautiful park with many easy to maneuver trails. The lakes are pristine and the waterfalls are varying sizes and shapes.

Come with enough time to fully enjoy the experience, as the size of the park requires it

There are different levels of hiking, 90 min. to 6hrs. 3 hours can cover everything, up hill or down

Attention, access to the upper lakes was not possible. Many trees and branches on the ground on the sides. Do not go with a person who walks poorly or slowly. Booking on the internet (34€/adult) but you still have to exchange a ticket on site (10€/adult mentioned on the ticket) then go to have it scanned. Other than that, the main thing is there: beautiful landscapes, the falls are absolutely to be seen and the setting is preserved: we were surrounded by birdsong, primroses, violets and snow remnants! I think April is ideal to come here because there are not too many people yet but it can be nice!

Entrance 1 course C (8KM) with boat and descent by train / bus top, we did it in 5H with 2 children 8 and 11 years old To do ideally in good weather otherwise it slips in the rain because it already slips a little under the sun. We're taking it easy Super well appointed Meals don't offer top, we got snacks in the off-season... I recommend Once there there is not much to see...
