This was absolutely worth it. Give yourself time to get there as it is far from most other locations. Also bring a jacket or some layers as it was very cold and we were there in June. Crowds are unreasonable so go early. There are only bathrooms at the beginning, middle and end. About 2/3 hours apart. There is food but I would bring a picnic lunch as it can be very crowded.

It is a beautiful place to discover and easy access. The paths are well marked. However, some information is missing regarding where to take the buses.

absolutely beautiful, got there at 7 and did the c trail which took about 3 and a half hours so got on a bus to the row boats, rowed for an hour and then did the K trail back to where we started. Whole day was a little over 8 hours and was incredible. If you can visit Plitvice during your stay in Croatia, I highly recommend it!

Spectacular scenery and a stunning backdrop. We loved the way the lakes were each lower elevation than the last. Not too crowed today either.
