5.00You are invited into the home of a local family. Our hosts were gracious and fun to get to know. They use a ton of spices in this dish. Don’t eat breakfast before you go, you have a lot of good eating to do!

5.00So enjoyed watching Sanva and her cousin move around her very efficient kitchen. Loved how she kept her spices organized. We used all the veggies I have seen growing in the area. We were able to taste the dishes as they cooked. The grand finale was lunch.

5.00A really fun and relaxed cooking experience. Shanta and her family were incredibly friendly and generous with their time and knowledge. Shanta was super patient and an amazing teacher! I really enjoyed learning how to make all the different elements of an authentic Nepali Dal Bhat. Can’t wait to try and make this back home. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone.

5.00Wonderful cooking and learning experience in a Nepali kitchen with very experienced and good teachers. Having enjoyed the local flavors, I was eager to learn the secrets, the spices, and the process. Did not disappoint and both myself and my eight-year-old daughter had a lot of fun.

I got to cook one of the most popular dishes in Nepal and learn about the food culture, all whilst using homegrown ingredients. I would recommend this to anyone!
