Our private guided tour with Romolo was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Pompeii and brought the history of the ancient city to life with fascinating details and stories. You could tell he truly loves what he does. I especially enjoyed learning so much about Pompeii’s culture, daily life, and the events surrounding the eruption. It made the entire experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour and Romolo as a guide.

Amazing tour guide, not only was Remolo very knowledgeable he was a great personality that made the tour even more enjoyable. We had older family members who need to take their time walking and Remolo was very considerate.

We had a fantastic 2.5-hour tour with Romolo. He is incredibly knowledgeable – a walking encyclopedia – and responded to all our questions with great insight. He tailored the tour perfectly to our interests and needs, and it was clear throughout how much he cared about making sure we learned as much as possible and truly enjoyed our time in Pompeii. It was my first time visiting Italy and Pompeii. At first, I thought the place might not really interest me, but our tour guide Romolo completely changed my impression! The way he shared the history of Pompeii was so fascinating that I became really engaged and curious to learn more. Also, English is my second language, and I really appreciated how clearly and simply he explained everything. It made the tour easy to follow and very enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour and Romolo as a guide!

Romolo was an exceptional guide — knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely passionate about Pompeii. From the very start, he made us feel completely at ease and turned what could have been just another historical tour into something truly memorable. He brought the ruins to life with great stories, humor, and just the right amount of detail. Even our “hate-everything teenagers” were completely engaged — which says it all. Nothing felt rushed or rehearsed; it was a relaxed walk through history with someone who clearly loves what he does. Highly recommended.

Romolo, our tour guide, was fantastic. He is funny, engaging, and has a wealth of knowledge about the history of Pompeii as well as the layout of the park. He incorporated some requested sights and took us to all the highlights, expertly avoiding any big tour groups. He was able to incorporate a lot of information during the tour and having him as our guide was the best way to see the park. I would definitely seek him out for additional tours and highly recommend him to anyone thinking about going to Pompeii Archaeological Park.
