Embark on a captivating journey that artfully weaves together history, nature, and adventure.
Skip-the-line access to both Pompeii and Vesuvius allows you to make the most of your day.
In Pompeii, a 2r guided tour led by an expert archaeologist reveals the haunting beauty of a city frozen in time by the eruption of 79 AD. Following your exploration, indulge in a traditional Italian lunch.
Your adventure continues to Mount Vesuvius, with a choice between two unique trails:
1. The Crater Trail leads you on a scenic ascent to the summit, where sweeping views of the Bay of Naples and a striking glimpse into the volcanic crater await.
2. The Valley of Hell offers a more adventurous path, winding through solidified lava flows from the 1944 eruption and revealing extraordinary rock formations and a hidden lava cave.
Both trails are led by experienced guides who provide insights into the geological and historical significance of the area.

Excellent experience. Giuseppe was very professional, gentle and friendly throughout the tur. He even gave us recommendations for other visits we would make in and around the city. The right driver. Comfortable vehicle. The time of visits to Pompeia and Vesuvius is adequate. Lunch included was delicious. Very good experience. Recommended 100%

This has been a bucket list tour for me and having looked at all the tour company options, I'm so glad I booked this one! It's not easy keeping a diverse group of travelers on time with different age groups, languages, and walking speed, but our tour leader Connie along with driver Remigio pulled it off! After being picked up at the first meeting spot, we picked up the rest of the group and headed to Pompeii. We were fortunate to have a pretty sunny day where Pompeii guide Leo gave us a clear picture of what life was like in the city before the fateful eruption. We then drove minutes away for our nice lunch at the restaurant. Those with the wine option ate at a separate area of the restaurant, while the rest of the group enjoyed our indoor lunch which included a salad, spaghetti pasta with a tomato sauce, and dessert. It was a perfect meal before driving 45 minutes or so and walking up Mount Vesuvius. We were fortunate to have a dry day, but was a bit overcast to see far out into the waters. It didn't matter because the main attraction was the active volcano where you can see steam coming out. The walk up is about 25 minutes and there is are two nice little beverage/snack/souvenir spots. One just after reaching the top and the other just after reaching the top. We had a good 2 hours which let you take your time once you reached the top. I've been on a few 'all day' tours and this one didn't feel long at all, as the lunch breaks up the two main attractions nicely. I highly recommend taking this specific tour and if you could not go wrong with the World Tour team of Connie, Remigio, and Leo- grazie a tutti!

The tours, the scenery were 5 star; but within 12 hours , they've changed the meeting place back and forth twice then she changed our level of the tour and said we can cancel or keep it and get 30 euro refund per person. But after the tour, she said that we have to reach out to viator to get the refund ourselves. They can't do it on their end. So it was appropriate for the options we had . It's the principle that we were forced to upgrade and paid more money then we got a lower level tour without getting the refund an easier way. Very disappointing !!!

The visit to Pompeii and Vesuvius has been amazing. The explanations of our guide Nacho have been clear, enjoyable and very interesting. Very good communicator. He had an answer for everything we asked him, and he's been watching over all of us every moment. Giovanni, the driver, punctual and very professional behind the wheel. We have felt safe and very comfortable throughout. They certainly make a good team. Recommended 100%

We explicitly stated in our booking that we were traveling with two young children (4 years old and 13 months old). Despite this, the service provided was completely unsafe and unprofessional. 1. Operational Failure: Upon arrival, the guide attempted to refuse our strollers, claiming there was "no room" on the bus, despite our clear prior notification. We were forced to argue with the staff just to get our essential equipment on board.2. Safety Hazards: The vehicle was not equipped with child seats. We were forced to hold a 13-month-old and a 4-year-old on our laps in a moving vehicle on Italian roads. This placed our children in significant, unnecessary danger. 3. Viator’s Shocking Response: When we reported this safety violation, Viator’s official response was: "The Supplier advised that children aged 0-4 travel on their parents' laps... for this reason, there were no child seats." Let that sink in. Viator and this operator believe it is acceptable for a 13 months-old to travel without a proper seat or restraint. They are prioritizing profit and convenience over the lives of children. Avoid this operator at all costs.
