We organised private hire for a joint corporate and charity evening. I wanted to say a huge thumbs up as had an absolute blast on Friday night. The Coastal Cruises team were fantastic and really looked after us so well with good humour and made us at ease immediately. Guests commented on how great the boat , the DJ and your team were. Originally when I rang around to compare companies Helen's care really was miles ahead of competitors. Im so glad we chose coastal cruise and the Fortuna as Friday night was such fun. Even in poor weather the whole boat were smiling and dancing. A successful night. A massive thank you from Amelia's Rainbow children’s charity.

The evening we went there was a storm and so we asked if it was to be cancelled, it wasn't as it was the last of the season and they obviously needed to make money. We arrived a few minutes early in blustering winds and rain but were not allowed to board, told categorically there was a set time for boarding, even though my Mum is disabled and there were lots of other elderly customers. On board the windows hadn't been wiped or cleaned so adding the rain and the stormy sea, it meant you could hardly see out to any view. Upstairs the speakers echo and resonate so whatever information you are being given you cannot really hear. The fish and chips arrived at the port and were then served fifteen minutes later, warm, greasy and the fishcakes for children were like something served up in the 80's. Most of our meal was binned. Then when we got off of the boat, the ramp to come down was so high my child was at risk of falling into the gap between the boat and the landing area and if he had fallen would have been crushed alive as the boat moved against the boarding area with the choppy sea. As for my disabled mother, how she got off the boat was a miracle because only after she shouted did anyone even offer a hand. I've awarded one star for the polite gentleman who was in the bar and serving food and the other star for the okay drinks served on board.

Myself and a number of my colleagues recently went on the evening fish & chips cruise in two groups on two different dates. I cannot fault the staff for how helpful they were from before I booked, all the way to the trips themselves. Trying to organise my work colleagues is like trying to herd cats, which meant I had constant questions and changes to the bookings, to which Coastal Cruises responded and sorted promptly and with no fuss. Both groups really enjoyed the trip itself, we didn't see much in the way of wildlife, but the tour information was very interesting and the first group enjoyed a lovely sunset.

What an incredible Friday evening we've just spent onboard 'The Island Scene'! We reached out to Coastal Cruises a couple of months ago to host our annual company summer party, and we're so so pleased we did! From start to finish, they have been an absolute pleasure to liaise with, especially Hele, who made the entire booking process incredibly seamless. They hosted around 50 of us, and we enjoyed fizz on arrival, delicious fish and chips, a brilliant onboard bar and a fantastic DJ who catered to all of our requests, and kept the vibes flowing! We were lucky enough to have a beautiful evening weather wise, so we enjoyed stunning views of the harbour and Old Harry Rocks, followed by a perfect sunset. We would 100% recommend getting in touch with Coastal cruises to organise your next personal or professional party! Thanks again everyone!

This cruise was good value for money, and although we did it including the fish and chips, you could also just do the cruise without the hot food. There was a well stocked bar with snacks. The commentary was very informative and we learnt a lot of things we didn’t know, even though we are from the local area. The only slight negative was that occasionally the commentary lost volume and we missed some of the information. Well done to the Captain and his crew of one, who worked extremely hard.
