Porvoo is the second oldest city in Finland. The town is famed for its "Old Town", a dense medieval street pattern with wooden houses. It is the town of Johan Ludvig Runeberg and Albert Edelfelt. We also will visit the market square, King's hotel, Merchant houses, and Toy store.

5.00I arrived earlier than my other organized tour, so that I can spend more time in Helsinki and around. I reserved this half-day tour on Viator way in advance. Darius picked me up at hotel on time and I was lucky, I was the only client! Loved the tour of little Porvoo, it is great to go with guide rather than alone, otherwise you won’t know some of the interesting details and stories.

5.00Darius took us on a wonderful trip to Porvoo. We were picked up promptly at the appointed time at our hotel. The ride from Helsinki took approximately 40 minutes. Darius kept us occupied with historical, cultural and geographic information. The walk thru Porvoo was most enjoyable and informative. We also got in a bit of shopping and a snack at some of the lovely shops. As with other outings we’ve had in Findland…wear comfortable shoes and dress warmly.

4.00A wonderful trip to see this beautiful town. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Had a lovely stop for coffee and cake and a chance to warmup on a December day. Pace of the tour was good and the transport comfortable.

5.00My wife and I enjoyed our private tour of Porvoo. Our guide picked us up at our hotel in Helsinki in his comfy van and was great to talk with. He was very knowledgeable as history is his passion. We visited the sights in Porvoo, stopped for coffee and enjoyed a bit of shopping. I would highly recommend and would go again!
