We had such a good day, definitely worth every penny. Our guide, Nate, made the tour really special and had loads of knowledge about the areas, the history, geography and even the local wines!! We were so impressed that we booked the Lake Bled tour with him for the next day. Can't recommend this tour enough.

We were on the 25th of September of 2025 in a group of 6 people being a child with 9 and another with 12 years. Unforgettable attraction! I've visited many caves, but this one is sensational. With a child it is worth including the vivarion. Only adults think nonsense because the exposed animal baby dragon is tb in an aquarium at the end of the cave tour. In the cave you walk in the trenzinho, then about 1500 m on foot in a completely accessible route and then again in the trenzinho.

Our guide, Nate, was exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. He answered all our questions, shared insider tips to help us make the most of our tour, and even recommended a few local restaurants (which we’ve already tried and loved). He also made a special stop at a viewing deck where we captured some amazing photos of Piran. It was an amazing day with perfect weather and an incredible guide. Each of the three stops was beautiful, unique, and picturesque.

I did two day trips with Slovenian Wander and I had a wonderful experience both times! Groups were small, guides were great and everything was timed perfectly. Would recommend them for anyone visiting Ljubljana for sure!

Nate was our tour guide and he’s excellent. He arrived on time and kept the tour interesting with tidbits of Slovenian history. The drive was smooth and the van was clean. The tour was small with only 6 people and all were respectful of the meeting time. The tour started with a trip to Piran. There was plenty of time to view the village from an elevation, followed by a stroll around the fishing port and had lunch. Piran’s famous storta is not to miss especially when paired with white wine. Our second stop was the Predjama castle which was impressively and strategically built within the opening of a cave. The last part and the highlight of the tour was the Postojna Cave. Nate timed it well so we get to be the last group to see the cave avoiding the huge throngs of tourists which made it a more relaxing experience. Overall, it was a pleasant tour with a great tour guide who managed the time efficiently.

This is among the few tours from Ljubljana that cover Piran, a beautiful coastal city by the Adriatic Sea, overseeing both Italy and Croatia. Our tour guide Nate made the right decision to go to Piran in the morning when there was a lot of sunshine and then Postojna Cave and Prejama Castle in the afternoon when it was less busy. Nate gave us very good introduction of Slovenian history and culture along the way. He was very friendly and tried to answer all our questions in the best possible manner. This is a tour I highly recommend if you have more than one day in Ljubljana.
