If you’ve no time to see everything at Prado, this gives you the highlights of the museum showcasing the most popular pieces of art. Originally when I signed up it said it’d be a small group of no more than 15 but there was around 24 of us which was too big of a group so I don’t know what happened there. Also because it was such a big group, with the added element of other tour groups and visitors in the museum it was difficult to see what our guide was talking about as the crowd was so big. It also felt quite rushed at some points, especially towards the end. Ander was our guide: he was good and knowledgable. I guess the good thing was that we could stay in to explore the rest of the galleries ourselves after the tour ended to get the money’s worth. But will have to come back again to finish seeing the collections as there’s so much to see in Prado and the last two hours of each day is free(!!)

Interesting highlights tour of a building which could be overwhelming. Frederico, our guide, was knowledgeable and friendly. He described the paintings, their artist and gave context.

Was not worth the money at all. It was hard to understand the guides english and it just felt like we didn't get any cool facts or details of the painters. It was nice to be shown the must see ones but for the price we paid, I would have just rather done it on my own
