We booked at 12:00 and purely lucky we were the only ones with my mother, so we received a private tour by chance. Beatrice, our guide, gave us a masterclass in history and art. His explanation of Rogier Van Der Weyden’s Descendance was moving; and what to say about other works such as The Enunciation, The Knight of the Hand on the Chest or the very detailed analysis on Las Meninas. We really had a luxurious experience!!!

I booked this experience as a way to enter the museum when all the online timed entries were sold out for the day I wanted to go. Even though the museum was crowded, our tour guide got us close to many paintings and earpieces were provided so we could hear him talk. I learned a lot more than I expected to. It was a great morning in the Prado!

If you visit Madrid it is absolutely obligatory to go to see Prado Museum. It is not problem to buy tickets on site. It is not obligatory to by tickets in advance. Exposition is fantastic and is one of the best in the world. Entrance check is as an air plane check. The bad ting is that Museum authority don't think about the visitors. All Museum rooms are with too many visitors. I know that the profit is important, but organization must be better. In my opinion if 1000 visitors go in they can stop the next until someone go out.

It is a quick but thorough introduction to the many large Prado Museum collections. Our guide, Jesus, passionately provided knowledgeable insights about the art and the artists, and the influence of Spanish history at the time of their painting. The quick "no line" entry is priceless, and after the guided tour ends inside the Prado, you are free to roam as you please.

The Prado is beautiful and our guide Frederico knew a lot of facts that made a painting much more alive.

To give yourself more time after the tour you could spend the whole day there. It was very professional. Luis was awesome.

The Prado Museum holds a vast collection of art. This tour highlighted some of the most important pieces, however the ticket allows you to then browse at you leisure. Our guide was very informative about the artwork and the history of the artists.
