  The Prado Museum has very large collection of important art pieces of cultural and historical value. Our guide took us to several significant pieces by influential artists. They knew their art history well and were able to give us the context of the works as well all the detail and meaning within them. You can remain in the museum after the tour (90 minutes) is over. It’s a busy place with lots of guided tours and lots of visitors.

  The guide never showed up and our tickets weren’t redeemable. We bought more tickets at the museum. This was a scam.

  It was impressive, even if security was ready to pounce if they even thought you were taking pictures. Our guide Isabel was passionate and well schooled on the art. It was amazing to see painting I had learned about in art history class at college. Some of the paintings were breathtaking. I wish I had pictures to share. I managed to snap one, that isn't so bad. Take the time to visit the Goya paintings on the lower level. You may not want to leave.

  Sara, was a great guide. My partner and I ended up having a private tour, we were the only ones that arrived. She did not cut us short and was very informative and answered all of our questions. I would definitely recommend a tour as the museum is very large and can become overwhelming.

  Isabel was terrific, very knowledgeable, engaging and personable. Was a great tour of various Spanish artists, and she provided a lot of historical information related to the paintings and so much about each painting. Highly recommend Isabel. My grandson said - that's the best time I've ever had in an art museum (and he goes to many!)

  Absolutely fantastic! Isabel was amazing. So very knowledgeable. Not only was she well versed in history, but she also provided context that made the experience so much more valuable. It felt like a conversation with a friend sharing their passion. And her passion was contagious. We couldn’t have been happier with her guidance. If I am ever able to return I will 100% do my best to have her as our guide. Time flew by. I could listen to her talk all day. I hope she sees this so I can again say, “Thank you so very much!!”

  My experience was wonderful. I did the 4:00pm time slot and our group concentrated on the main attractions of the museum! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and very nice! I would recommend for a solo person or family, etc. to do this tour. Thanks for the cultural experience! The Prado Museum is so incredible!!! I think I have to go back again to take it all in as it is massive!
