Next, forward to the historical center of Plateau and start the walking tour through the Jaime Mota Military Barracks, passing by the Presidential Palace, and the Alexandre Albuquerque Square, the city main square which has a water fountain at the centre. In the Municipal Market (closed on Sundays), meet locals and find a diverse range of local fresh organic fruits and vegetables.

4.00After a mix up with another couple mistakenly taking our guide, we were underway for our tour. Elder was super friendly & informed us of the history & culture of this interesting city. It was well paced & he kept to our tight schedule.
