An up close and personal Premium Puffin and Birdwatching tour operated in custom made RIB boats with just 12 passenger and expert birdlife guide. Operated up to 9 times a day, everyday, from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík from May 1st to August 20th.

What To Expect
The tour starts and ends by our ticket office at the Reykjavík's Old Harbour. Here you arrive 30 minutes prior to the departure to get ready for the tour and the guide then walks you down to the boat which is docked at the Harbour.
On the tour we sail close by 2-3 islands where the puffins are nesting. The islands are nature reserves so we stay on the boat during the tour but we get you extra close to the islands on our RIB speedboats

5.00Really fun RIB ride and we saw lots and lots of puffins-- in the water, on the islands, and flying. Everything went very smoothly from check-in until return. I recommend this activity, (and it helped that we had a beautiful day and little wind).

5.00Terrific outing to view the puffins from Reykjavic old harbour. The check in process was easy and well practiced. The boat (RIB) was excellent and the guides extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We got close to lots of birds without distressing them and all had a great time.

5.00This is a really fun, easy, and relatively quick activity. We stopped at 3 different locations in the harbor, and there were tons of puffins at each. You do get very close to the cliffs where they nest, but you still will need binoculars or a camera with a good zoom lens to get a good clear view of them. They also do swim, but they don't tolerate the boat so you won't be able to get too close there either. They are also surprisingly (to me anyway) good and fast in flight. Thanks to our guide Anna. She knows her marine life, and she had a nice zoom lens on her camera and shared a whole bunch of really fantastic pics of the puffins. Couple of other thoughts: The dry suit is super warm, so depending on the weather you may not need a lot of layers. We had full sun and temps in the 50s so it was actually too warm until the boat got up to speed. There's very little spray from the boat itself, but you'll definitely get soaked on a drizzly or rainy day. If you plan on taking pictures yourself bring a long zoom lens. They provide binoculars which you will need if you're not looking through the camera.

5.00Enjoyed the excursion. We did not see many whales but saw lots of [uffins. staff were very kind, patient and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend this experience to friends or to do it again. The day was rainy and the seas were rough but I loved every minute of it. Management offered us a free excursion on the bigger boat to be used in the next two years as we did not see many whales. Thank you. First class act.

5.00An amazing experience. So blessed to see all 4 of the common whales, dolphins and porpoises in the bay: harbour porpoises, minke whales, white beaked dolphins and my ultimate favourite humpback whales. Hugely recommend

5.00Fantastic experience. Although we were at the end of the breeding season for the Puffins.... The crew made sure that we went to a few places that still had them. They were very informative and even took some of there own pictures on our tour to email us. Most of us were using our phone camera's and they had much better SLR digital camera. They sent along their images the very next day. Highly recommend their tours. We did the Puffin Tour but I think they also have Whale watching and others.

3.00The ride was extremely bumpy and frightening. I hurt my knee on one of the bumps. I believe there should be a warning on this ride. I did not realize how extreme the ride to see the puffins were. Speaking of puffins, you don't get close to them so I am not sure I can recommend this trip.
