5.00We booked our trip for a trip to Princesa Del Mar at Playa Tranquila not knowing what to expect. We had spent the day at Playa Blanca (the sister beach) a few days prior and loved it, so we wanted to try this because they say it is more relaxing, away from the crowds and water sports. They scheduled us to take a speed boat from the Piers in Cartagena straight to the island. No tours, no fluff. Just a ride. Out of around 24 people on the boat, we (my wife and I)were the only ones going to Princesa Del Mar. When we got there, we were met by our island host Luis who walked us over to the location. The structure they call Princesa Del Mar is nothing to write home about. Actually looks abandoned. They have about 8 beach lounges out front, all vacant. This portion of the beach in front of Princesa Del Mar, including the water was completely ours. There are no luxury amenities here. But pure exclusivity. Luis brought us our welcome drink and then fed us lunch. He even brought us a Bluetooth Speaker so we can play our own music which we turned up and heard from the water. Beach, sand, ocean, and food all excellent. If you’re looking for a 5 star resort, this ain’t it. But if you want to relax and enjoy, I promise, there is not one place on that beach with this kind of exclusivity. We walked both ways and everything else was a little chaotic and full of people. Even dirty in some places. Truly a one of kind experience for the books.

5.00Nice place to share with the family, the view is super beautiful, the whole Princess of the Sea area is completely clean, has something that not all cabins have “WiFi” is very important... the food is good, the perfect place to disconnect from the noise and flee from so many vendors without doubt Princess of the Sea

5.00A real paradise to disconnect. It is a beautiful place, very well maintained and totally away from the noise. The beach is spectacularly beautiful, and the best thing about the experience was the food, which was absolutely delicious. Fully recommended if you are looking for tranquility and good taste!
