"Step into Albania’s past at Bunk'Art, a unique museum set in a massive Cold War-era bunker. A must-visit for history buffs and curious travelers alike!"
The Pyramid of Tirana, located on Bulevardi Dëshmorët e Kombit, is an iconic and somewhat controversial landmark in the city. Originally built in 1988 as a museum dedicated to Enver Hoxha, the former communist leader of Albania, the structure was designed by a team of architects, including Hoxha’s daughter and her husband. Its unique, pyramid-like shape makes it stand out in the urban landscape. Over the years, the pyramid has undergone various transformations. After the fall of communism, it was repurposed for different uses, including a youth center and an exhibition space. However, it fell into disrepair and became a symbol of both nostalgia and neglect.
Liqeni i Tiranës, or the Artificial Lake of Tirana, is a picturesque body of water located in the Grand Park (Parku i Madh) of Tirana, Albania. Created in the 1950s, this artificial lake spans about 2.5 square kilometers and serves as a central recreational area for both locals and visitors. Surrounded by lush greenery, the lake offers numerous walking and cycling paths, making it a popular spot for outdoor activities. You’ll find families picnicking, joggers, and people enjoying leisurely strolls along the waterfront. The area is also home to various cafes and restaurants where visitors can relax and enjoy scenic views.

My tour in Përmet, Leskovik, and Gjirokastër was an unforgettable experience! We started in Përmet, where the stunning natural beauty amazed us, especially the Përmet River, which offers numerous outdoor activities. Then, we traveled to Leskovik, a small village rich in cultural and culinary traditions. The traditional dishes, such as byrek and grilled meat, were fantastic! Gjirokastër, with its unique architecture and characteristic colors, provided a deep insight into Albanian history. Visiting the castle was a highlight, offering breathtaking views of the city and surrounding landscape. The trip was full of adventure, and sharing these moments with friends was fantastic. The organization was excellent, and every detail was well thought out. Without a doubt, this tour will remain one of my best experiences. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature and Albanian culture!
