Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from Nairobi. After a scenic 3-hour drive to Nanyuki. From there, we’ll head to the Sirimon Gate from where we enter Mount Kenya National Park in the afternoon. The day’s hike is a gentle 9km trek from Sirimon gate to Old Moses Camp, taking 2-3 hours. This hike is perfect for acclimatization and offers a fascinating journey through four distinct vegetation zones: tropical rainforest, bamboo jungle, rosewood, and heather. After breakfast, we’ll start the hike at 8:00 AM via the Sirimon route. The trail winds through the stunning Alpine Moorland Zone, a unique and breathtaking landscape. The hike takes 5-7 hours, depending on your pace, with a picnic lunch break along the way. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at Shiptons Camp, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night. Today is all about acclimatization. After breakfast, we’ll hike up to Hausberg Col (4,600m), where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the west ridges and surrounding peaks. After soaking in the scenery, we’ll return to Shiptons Camp for dinner and another restful night. Overnight: Shiptons Camp.

The big day begins at 3:00 AM with a pre-dawn start. This early ascent increases your chances of reaching Point Lenana in time for a spectacular sunrise. After celebrating your summit success and capturing unforgettable photos, to Mackinders camp 4200mts for breakfast and short rest. Then descend to Met Station (3300mts)for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we’ll descend through the enchanting Naromoru Forest, where you’ll enjoy one last dose of Mount Kenya’s natural beauty.
