In 1964 this impressive bridge that forms the set of the 3 bridges in Edinburgh, was opened to traffic and at this time the ferry that transported passengers from North to South Queensferry was in disuse. Since 1413 the University of St. Andrews has been one of the most important in the whole of the United Kingdom. We will photograph ourselves in its central patio as well as walk along some of its faculties and we will see the chapel of San Salvador in it.

Dundee

The fourth city in population in Scotland, with around 150,000 inhabitants, it is famous for its graphic industry and known for being the city where the first computer in the world sold to NASA was built. It also houses the famous Navios; Discovery & the Unicorn Frigate.

Discovery Point

The Discovery is a typical British-built sailboat inaugurated in 1901 and built in these Dundee shipyards in Scotland where it rests. To this Scottish research sailboat and his captain Scott we owe, among other discoveries, the positioning of the true South Pole in Antarctica, which cost them two years of encayamiento in the ice of said pole to which they survived. Beautiful Victorian-style town where we will walk through its High Street and have a nice coffee. Visited in 1846 by Queen Victoria and her husband Prince Albert who loved Scotland so much, it was the first Scottish town where the tourist boom exploded.

Caledonian Canal

Inaugurated in 1822 and designed by the Scottish engineer Thomas Telford, this canal connects the North Atlantic Ocean with the North Sea, crossing all of Alba-Scotland. Today we will travel following its route between beautiful forests and lakes.

Finally we arrive yes! to the immense Loch Ness. At almost 38 km in length, 236 meters in depth and 56.5 km in area, this lake, one of the largest on the planet, contains more fresh water than all the lakes in England and Wales combined. Loch Lomond

This one we visit is the largest lake in all of Scotland and therefore in the whole of the United Kingdom. It does not contain more water than Loch Ness but it does offer more extension with an area of approximately 70 square km.

Luss

Beautiful little conservation village on the shores of Loch Lomond and that experienced its tourist boom from the filming of the British series in the 80s; "High Road". In its origins as early as the 6th century it was a concentration area for Picto Druids. We will tell you more about its history and St. Kessog in the beautiful walk through it.

Stirling Castle

Impressive fortress and twin brother of Edinburgh Castle that we will visit in the following days. Stirling Castle is where the Queen of Scotland was crowned; María Estuardo with only 9 months of age and known as "The gateway to the Highlands" is said who conquered this castle dominated Scotland, for this reason the English King Edward I attacked it in the 18th century, but William Wallace in the Battle of Stirling Bridge defeated him and returned to Scotland in 1297, as would years later the King of Scotland Robert the Bruce with Edward II of England, managing to maintain the sovereignty of the attacked Scotland!

We arrive today after an extensive and beautiful content to the "Athens of the North" and a World Heritage Site; Edinburgh. In the remaining three days we will meet her and enjoy in a more relaxed way and with free time. The Christmas spirit and the ancestral celebration of Celtic and Viking origin; Hogmanay! you breathe here in every corner and tavern. Beautiful lighting, cold Nordic atmosphere and its decorations and friendly Scots will make us feel pleasantly welcomed. The Royal Mile or the High Street in Edinburgh. You will have the whole morning free for your purchases or visits that have remained pending in the impressive and cultural capital of Scotland, one of the cradles of the Enlightenment in Europe and its famous University of the 16th century. The fraternal Christmas atmosphere of this Nordic country is breathed in the air and more today, December 31, Hogmanay holiday from Celtic and Viking origins. You could be a Scottish or Scottish more welcomed as such in its streets, shops and taverns of past centuries ... In 2020 we will not celebrate the wonderful Christmas market or the torchlight procession as well as other typical activities of these dates here but we will get together to enjoy some pleasant moments together, do some alternative activity or depending on whether you have booked the Gala with us and New Year's Eve Dinner or not, we can enjoy a few moments before dinner.
