What To Expect

Fountain Square

Fountains Square is downtown, entertainment and leisure centre in Baku. However, this neighborhood emerged as main trading street of boom town during the first oil boom era, late XIX and early XX century. This is where we meet and end the tour.

Baku Old City

Then you will continue your tour program with Old City Walking tour. You will drive to the Double Gates to start Old City Walking Tour. This tour will takes time around 1-2 Hours. From Double Gates, starting the tour you will be able to see the Chain, Sailor and Cat Houses, Bukhara and Multani Caravanserais, Juma Mosque, Maiden Tower. Guide will explain to you the history of the Old City, and its buildings mentioned above. After taking pictures in front of the Maiden Tower you will proceed to Visit the Miniature Book Museum (if it is open), the biggest miniature book collection on earth that has a book which thickness of 0.75mm and consist of 22 Pages. Today, the museum holds a unique collection of over 5,600 books published in 66 countries around the world.

It was 5days 4 nights trip. From airport pick up to airport drop back, the driver was with us taking good care of us. He explained everything about the trips, well organized, and took us to different places. We are really happy with the sevice, we felt safe with him. His name is Mr Samir, and we are thankful to him. If you are somebody like us who is traveling Azerbaijan first time ,then you don't have to worry at all, Gulf travel Azerbaijan provides you the excellent tour experience. The best trip we have had as a couple the tour guide Jeyhun was amazing the information he gave to us about the city, country and its people was so informative.
