We were looking for a specific tea and a dress. Jerry took us to the perfect ships and we found what we wanted. We visited all the shops advertised. Everyone in my family found what they wanted. Jerry made us feel relaxed and not rushed. He also helped us learn how to make a good bargain. All this while educating about culture and history. Thank you, Jerry!

Jerry was friendly, and took us through the ins and outs of Beijing markets. Hugely impressed with his knowledge and his help in bargaining. We didn’t feel like we missed out on any type of shopping at any point in the tour. Thank you Jerry once more!

Linda has been an amazing guide! If you are thinking about doing the antique and pearl market - or even if you just want to browse - she will make sure you’re looked after! The tea tasting stop has been really good as well! Linda was an amazing communicator who will go above and beyond to make sure you’re getting the best deals in the best places :) Even after the tour - she took me to a Luzhu joint as I expressed how badly I wanted to try the local Beijing specialty! Despite the public holiday, she covered the itinerary and more! I’m even talking to Linda even after the tour and she has been a helpful person to ask about specific Beijing things! Highlights: - Tea tasting - love the selection! Will suit different budgets :) - Antique markets - to window shop - Pearl market - if you are after good brands, to souvenirs - best place to haggle!

We had an amazing day with Jerry! He took us to the antique market and helped us negotiate prices, then brought us to a special tea ceremony where we were introduced to a variety of teas. We also visited the pearl market and were guided to a shop with the best quality pearls. He showed us some fantastic local spots, including a place for lunch where we enjoyed delicious, freshly made dumplings – a perfect highlight of the day. Jerry is incredibly professional, warm, and personable, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable.

I wanted to experience Beijing shopping without getting overwhelmed so I booked this tour. I got a fantastic Tea Ceremony experience and the chance to head right to the best and most famous shop in the Pearl Market, finished off with a wonderful and authentic lunch featuring Peking Duck. My guide took excellent care of me. Wonderful morning.

Had a great time exploring the markets in Beijing. Very interesting to see local goods and unique items we never knew about. Our tour guide, Lucy, was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of insight, not just about the items at the markets, but about Beijing and Chinese culture as well. Learned a lot! By the end of the day, we felt like we made a great friend. Would definitely recommend

Very convenient for a 1 day stopover. No hiccups, smoothly transferred from the hotel to the antiques market and Pearl market. Lynda guided us towards what we wanted to see, saves time. She also helped negotiate a deal. On the way she told us about Beijing history and architecture. Overall very pleasant experience! Julia

I would really recommend this tour for anyone who is a bit daunted by visiting markets in Beijing on their own. Our guide Lisa was excellent, guiding my husband and I through the markets and giving us info on all the types of produce and wares. It was so interesting and we felt at ease with Lisa by our side. We really enjoyed the tea Tasting and didn't realise there were so many beautiful flavours of tea. A bonus also for us was seeing some chinese dragon dancing in the Market, which we had time to watch for a while. Thank you so much again Lisa for such an enjoyable experience.
