Brilliant tour. Jimmy, our driver, had deep personal experience growing up during the Troubles and was able to share insights we would never learned from simply reading about the period. The tour was particularly impactful in the way Jimmy related the past to what we were able to see in the present in the many tour stops. We learned a lot. Powerful and moving. Highly recommend!

A fascinating tour featuring the murals scattered around Belfast and a history of the sad, horrific battle between neighbors. I can’t claim to understand it but I certainly was given a view into the history and events that went on.

This was a great experience. Our driver was such a knowledgeable guide and specialised in Irish history so really knew his stuff. For us who lived during what are euphemistally called "the troubles" when it was warfare it was amazing to put context around placenames we had heard when we were young. Makes for an uncomfortable feeling being English in light of the atrocities we brought upon the Irish people over centuries but not that different to what we did the world over. Would thoroughly recommend this tour to fill in many gaps in what is taught in English schools. Eye opening it certainly is.

A memorable and at times moving experience as the impacts and scars of the troubles become more real by being there, and also the progress that is being made to move forward.

We learned a great deal from our guide, Brendan. He provided a lot of detail and context. I think it was important to tour the area with someone who is local. He didn't talk about his own history, though I am sure that he could have shared a lot. Instead, he conveyed compassion. I got the feeling that he was very invested in peaceful justice. I don't think we would have gotten by reading or even listening to an audio guide. He was also very friendly and easy to talk with. All in all, it was a great two hours spent.

Sean Mc was a phenomenal guide. My family learned so much. We really appreciated Sean's thoughtful insights and his willingness to answer all of our questions. We definitely gained a greater appreciation of such a difficult and challenging time in history. Highly recommend this tour and especially Sean Mc as a guide!!! Thank you Sean Mc!!!
