Took us to all the key Troubles landmarks, both sides, and introduced us, historically, to the major figures. Everything in the details and more. This tour is more than just a tourist box to be checked, it’s emotional and powerful!

5.00My sister & I had a 2 hour tour with Ricky which was incredibly informative and moving. He was very knowledgeable explaining the history of Ireland going back over the past 800 years, giving context to the Troubles which ravaged the 6 counties of Northern Ireland from the late 1960’s to the Peace Deal at Easter 1998. It was wonderful to see the now peaceful streets of Belfast, on both the Falls Road and the Shankhill Road.
Excellent tour - Ricky was outstanding.

5.00Gerard was able to relate very personal experiences related to the troubles between the Protestants and the Catholics. He shared a significant amount of information and showed many pictures of the conflict. We did not realize how separated Belfast still is. Driving through the divided areas was eye opening.

5.00Brendan was wonderful! Knowledgable, friendly, and accommodating. He would stop frequently and ask if we had any questions and would give a very thorough answer to anything we asked. He also gave us the opportunity to get out at several places to take photos or to step inside a church. I highly recommended Black Taxi - and Brendan.

5.00The two of us did our tour on the 14th of April with Brendan in his very clean , private cab which was set up perfectly for our tour. Brendan arrived early at our hotel for pick up and the tour was absolutely perfect and met all expectations. Brendan’s knowledge was amazing and his balanced candour was greatly appreciated. During the tour we bumped into another guide who told us we were lucky to have booked our tour with the best guide. Our experience left little doubt as to the accuracy of this remark. Book with Brendan and you wont be disappointed. Thanks again Brendan.
