From the deep valleys and rainforests to standing on the edge overlooking magnificent valleys the diversity will take your breath away. Start with a coffee break in the lower Blue Mountains then get set for what can only be described as breathtaking views.

Optional stop at Featherdale to see the world's largest collection of native Australian animals. This can be discussed on the day.
Blue Mountains
We offer complete flexibility on your tour exploring the areas of your choice, staying longer or avoiding alltogether. This tour is booked as a private tour with no other guests. Escape Scenes has been touring through The Blue Mountains for over 15 years and has discovered a large number of vantage points to enjoy the spectacular views overlooking the various valleys. We spend most of our time exploring these valleys away from the larger groups. Go deep within lush rainforest areas and lookouts.

5.00Fantastic Blue Montains Tour. Picked up from our hotel by Dave our friendly and knowledge tour expert in his comfortable luxurious 8-seater SUV for a 9 hour tour. Itinerary was totally flexible as nothing was set in stone. We opted for a 90 minute visit to Featherdale wildlife park to see some of the indigenous species including wombats, paddymelons, kangaroos and everyone's favourite the Koala bears. The rest of the journey was centred in and around the Blue Mountains overlooking Jameson valley. Dave knows this area like the back of his hand, and took us to see some amazing views whilst being able to avoid the touristy crowds as he knows the tour company routes and schedules. Along the way Dave kept us informed with titbits of information on local history and geography based on several years experience in the area. We would like to thank Dave for taking us on a memorable day out, and thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone who wishes to have a private tour of the Blue Mountains in a comfortable vehicle with an expert guide. Thanks Dave!!!

5.00We are a family of four adults and booked a day tour of the Blue Mountains with Escape Scenes. From start to finish, it was a fantastic experience. The vehicle was new, spotless, and very comfortable, complete with USB charging ports for convenience. Our tour guide, Dave, was exceptional. He tailored the entire tour to suit our interests and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the day. He even provided drinks and Tim Tams, which was a lovely touch! Dave took us to a range of stunning lookouts and some hidden gems we would have never found on our own. All in all, it was a spectacular and memorable tour — highly recommended!

5.00While planning our honeymoon to Sydney, Australia we knew that we absolutely had to see the Blue Mountains. After exhaustively searching for a tour excursion we chose Dave of Escape Scenes based on the numerous positive reviews from past travelers. This excursion almost immediately became one of the highlights of our honeymoon in no small part because of Dave’s expert, lived experience and knowledge. We opted for a full day private tour and we would encourage anyone else who is interested in seeing the Blue Mountains to do so as well. Dave was punctual, friendly, and welcoming. He possessed the unique skill of gently guiding our tour direction without overwhelming us or micromanaging. He is a guide in the truest sense of the word. We had an incredible, once in a lifetime experience full of magical vistas, enchanting waterfalls, and local color that we will be reminiscing about for years to come. Furthermore, his Mercedes van was pristine, stocked with beverages and made for a comfortable chariot that shepherded us from location to location. Dave even took the time to take us to several memorable local communities where we got to sample the fare and do some light shopping. In conclusion, do yourself a favor and book a tour of the Blue Mountains with Dave for your Australian adventure, it will exceed all expectations.
