  Absolutely unforgettable snorkeling trip in Aruba! The water was crystal clear, and within minutes we were surrounded by vibrant schools of fish in every color you can imagine. The highlight was spotting multiple sea turtles gliding effortlessly through the water-such a surreal and peaceful experience. We also explored a shipwreck, which was incredible to see up close. It added a whole different level of adventure, with fish swimming in and around the structure. It felt like stepping into another world. If you're visiting Aruba, this is a must-do. Thank you Carl and Shine for an unforgettable experience.

  Our family had an absolutely incredible boat charter experience in Aruba with Ocean Encounters—truly one of the highlights of our trip! From the very beginning, Bibi went above and beyond. After we submitted our booking request, she reached out via WhatsApp and helped us thoughtfully plan the perfect itinerary for our family (traveling with our one- and four-year-old boys). Based on her recommendation, we booked a 4-hour charter from 10–2 to explore the reef islands on the southeast side of Aruba and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The area was calm, shallow, and completely sheltered, making it ideal for young kids. The mangroves lining the reef created this stunning, river-like path where we could wade and snorkel, spotting all kinds of beautiful fish along the way. Bibi’s communication leading up to the trip was exceptional. She made sure we knew exactly what to expect, what to bring, and where to meet, which made everything feel seamless and stress-free. She even checked in ahead of time about food allergies. The boat itself was fantastic—clean, spacious, and comfortable. They had a cooler stocked with sodas and water, plus fresh fruit and cheese for snacks. Midway through the trip, they served lunch (delicious, fresh salads on rolls from Super Food), which was such a great touch. Our captain, Carl (Bibi’s husband), along with their son Shine, made the experience even more special. Carl’s knowledge of the area and his ability to take us to quieter, less-traveled spots really elevated the day. You can tell this is a family that truly cares about what they do. We love supporting locally owned, family-run businesses—especially when they deliver an experience this memorable. Bibi, Carl, and Shine created something really special for our family, and we’re so grateful. If you’re considering a boat charter in Aruba, don’t think twice—book with Ocean Encounters. • A Great Boat Trip

  A wonderful 3hr boat trip well managed by Bibi and Carl. Our family group covered a very wide age range and this trip exceeded our expectations. We were taken to some lovely snorkelling sites to enjoy seeing some of Aruba’s sea life. First time snorkelers were well supported and therefore felt safe in the water throughout. Equipment provided was good and the boat was very comfortable and well handled. We were made very welcome Bibi and Carl and highly recommend them.

  We took a private tour with Carl and Shine and the day couldn’t have gotten any better. We saw lots of fish and turtles and Carl took us to his special spot that was very private. They made us feel at home with all the snacks and cocktails and the friendship. Highly recommend for the day.

  Wonderful trip that was organized by captain Carl and his son. The cruise was relaxing as they took care of everything. Loved supporting a small family owned operation versus large corporate tours. The food and drinks were fantastic. The private boat is the way to enjoy this tour

  We had the BEST time on our private boat tour in Aruba with Captain Carl and his amazing helper, Shine! From the moment we stepped on board, they made us feel like family. They were so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely fun to be around. The vibes were immaculate the entire trip. Captain Carl clearly knows the waters inside and out, and was incredible at making sure everyone was comfortable, relaxed, and having a great time. We also loved hearing about Captain Carl’s wife, Captain Bibi. You can tell this is a family full of passion for what they do, and that warmth really shows in the experience. We laughed, explored, soaked up the sun, and made memories we will never forget. This was hands down one of the highlights of our Aruba trip. We are already looking forward to more adventures with them in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable, personal boat experience!

• Fantastic Private Boat Experience

  First off, Bibi and Carl are wonderful people. They were easy to coordinate with, good with communicating, and fantastic with our kids (4 and 2 y/o). We were a bit worried about taking our kids on a trip too long but Bibi convinced us that the 4 hour trip would be the best option and the kids would have a blast. It was a great decision and so happy that we did. We spent the first part of the trip north of Palm Beach where we snorkeled with some fish and found a couple sea turtles. Having Carl there to guide us and point out things with very helpful. From there, we traveled down the coast to mangroves where we snorkeled in shallow water filled with fish of all sizes. It was such a cool experience away from all the big tours and the kids loved it. They brought along fresh fruit and drinks and had all water gear we needed. Such a great experience. I already mentioned it but spending half the day with Bibi and Carl was wonderful. Our kids felt so welcomed and we enjoyed learning about their journey. Anyone looking for a more intimate experience with great company should highly consider Ocean Encounters. We’ll be back for sure.

  Have been doing excursions for years and this one was my all time favorite!! Captain Carl and Shine delivered above and beyond what they promised. Great snorkeling and an absolutely relaxing boat ride , we only did the hour boat ride but should have done the four hour one. Next time!!!
