  We had a great time snorkeling, swimming with stingrays, and enjoying our time on the boat. We also stopped for a great lunch at Kaibo beach. Since it was just our group, we were able to discuss with our captain what activities we were interested in doing. There was bluetooth speaker for music and a cooler for drinks. Water was provided. Would definitely do this activity again!

  Our experience was amazing!!!! We took the early tour that starts at 6am. Captain James knew all the great spots. 1st stop for us was swimming with the Stingrays. We got to feed and hold them. Daisy the Stingray was most popular. It was a little scary at first. However they are the dogs of the sea. So gentle and sweet!!! 2nd and 3rd stops were some amazing snorkeling spots. Filled with hundreds of different fish of all sizes. Absolutely stunning!!! Last stop was visiting the starfish. Very cool creatures! Almost indestructible, just don't take them out of the water.

  The only reason I did not give James a 5 is b/c I think all boat operators should pull out the life jackets and automatically hand them out, allowing guests to decline if they wish and not putting on the guests to have to ask for them. I am a safety nut.

  Captain Mark made this tour fun - he's passionate about his island and happy to share his knowledge. Hi-lite was meeting his Stingray sweethearts Bella, Barbie, Big momma... Thanks to Island Charters for re-scheduling our tour when the weather didn't co-operate. Our 2nd try was awesome.

  So thankful we booked this sunset excursion! With five of us, chartering a boat made perfect sense and allowed us to experience three incredible highlights in just four hours, from late afternoon into early evening. Captain James was safety-conscious, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable about the island’s history and marine life. Visiting and swimming at Stingray City—where he literally knows and has names for many of the wild stingrays—was unforgettable. We also loved spending time at Starfish Point, where Captain James carefully explained how to interact responsibly and protect these beautiful creatures. Swimming in the Bioluminescent Bay was the perfect way to end the evening and is something we will never forget. Great music, stunning scenery, and an unforgettable atmosphere—especially at dusk. A quick tip: if you get cold easily, bring a sweatshirt and a couple of extra towels. Swimming in these beautiful waters at sunset truly feels like a once-in-a-lifetime experience.   Captain Mark was great! Took us to a great snorkel spot, then skipped The zoo that sting ray city was and went to a site where it was just us and the stingrays! So much better experience.   The experience was cool but it was cold! Something to think about when you are booking this trip this time of year. The bay water was cold so we weren't in the water that long.

• Private is the way to go for seeing the sights on the water while in Grand Caymen !

  James was a true gem providing a fun and informative afternoon/evening visiting his “family” in Stingray City, Starfish Point and Bio Bay! He was familiar with all of the stingrays we encountered through several years of interacting with them. He was fun and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the private tour with Island Charters to have more personalized experience in these fun areas of Grand Caymen. The Bio Bay was a highlight and well worth getting back in the water in the dark!
