5.00Clem and Michelle gave us such a wonderful catamaran experience around the Papagayo Peninsula. They graciously shared their boat with us and showed us the beauty of the area by water, which made the whole experience feel very special and personal. We saw manta rays, a sea turtle, and so many colorful fish while snorkeling on the reef, and we ended the trip with one of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. Michelle was incredibly kind and thoughtful. She made us lovely drinks and served us a completely homemade pizza with fresh homemade crust, pesto sauce, and fresh tomatoes, steaming hot and brought right to the front of the catamaran. It was such a special touch and absolutely delicious. Clem and Michelle were both so kind, caring, and welcoming throughout the entire experience. Jose, who drove the dinghy, was also fantastic. He shared information about the area and made the trip even more enjoyable. This was a truly memorable experience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Papagayo Peninsula

5.00We are a family of 4, including two teenagers. We opted for the less corporate experience and weren't looking for the big party boat atmosphere, and we couldn't be more grateful for our choice. Clem, Michelle and Jose made us feel at ease and it felt as though we'd been invited out for a sail with friends. The weather was windy which impacted the snorkeling but that allowed us to focus on simply enjoying the voyage, vistas and occasional manta ray fin sightings, and of course the magnificent sunset. In a trip full of highlight memories, this was among the top for our family. And the food was absolutely delicious! There is a reason their worst rating is 5 stars.

5.00We had the best time! Michelle, Koka and El Capitan were truly amazing hosts. We had 5 kids(8-14) and 5 adults and felt so at home. Michelle cooked some of the most amazing food(I read this in other reviews and was part of the deciding factor for booking) and truly their pizzas are AMAZING! Their tacos were also delicious, everything we ate was so good and this isn’t even a food based cruise(we ate it so quick I couldn’t even get a photo). On to the cruise-we all snorkeled and swam with turtles(!!) & were able to see a wide variety of fish. Koka even took the dingy to shore so the younger kids could start their snorkel from the shore vs jumping off the boat. It was so nice to have our own boat/space vs the other tours that were crammed with people. Again, this was just a perfect experience.

5.00My wife and another couple booked an afternoon sunset cruise. It was relaxing, comfortable and also very informative. The captain was extremely knowledgeable about Costs Rica, the habitat, the natural parks and was eager to share that information. He and the boat owner and his partner were extremely gracious and a joy to be around. They served an amazing guacamole topped with diced mangos that was AMAZING. The snorkeling we did was hampered by turbulent waters earlier in the day that left the water turbid, but no fault of the crew. They quickly pivoted and continued to make the cruise well worth it. I would highly recommend them and if we make it down to Costa Rica in the future would book with them again!

5.00Great day on the water with Clem and Michelle. Really easy communication starting a couple of days before the tour. On time pickup at our hotel. They also went the extra mile by making this an extra special birthday celebration. The boat was decorated with balloons and a sign when we boarded. And they even brought a wonderful cake. The whole experience felt warm, personal, and was very relaxing.

From the moment we stepped on board, the crew made us feel completely welcome — warm, authentic, and genuinely happy to share their slice of paradise with us. The food was fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and way beyond what you’d expect on a sail. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, not just thrown together. Drinks were flowing, music was just right (good vibes without being overwhelming), and the atmosphere was relaxed yet celebratory. The real magic, though, was the sunset. Watching the sky shift from gold to pink to deep orange while sailing along the coast was unforgettable. It felt intimate and peaceful, not crowded or overly commercial. What made it special wasn’t just the scenery — it was the people. 5.00We booked a full-day private catamaran sailing out of Playa Panama to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and it became the absolute highlight of our trip. If you’re staying anywhere in Guanacaste Province, this is truly a must-do experience. From the moment we were picked up, everything felt thoughtful, relaxed, and perfectly paced. We sailed north along the coast, tucking into beautiful coves and bays for breathtaking views and snorkeling. The weather, water, and scenery were all stunning. Clem and Michelle were gracious and attentive hosts, striking the perfect balance between engaging with us and allowing us to fully enjoy our time at sea. Carlos, one of the crew members, was incredibly knowledgeable — sharing local facts, wildlife insights, and cultural context that made the day feel immersive. Snorkeling with him was a highlight: we saw sea turtles, eels, puffer fish, trumpet fish, and even monkeys along the shoreline. The food and drinks exceeded expectations — welcome cocktails and fresh fruit, fresh guac and chips, oven-fired pizza, great cocktails (plus beer), and music that perfectly matched the laid-back, sunny-on-the-water vibe. The true “wow” moment was celebrating my partner’s birthday at sunset. Clem and Michelle helped me coordinate decorations and even arranged a beautiful cake from a local baker, timed perfectly for sunset — an unforgettable memory. We enjoyed this experience so much that we already know we’ll be booking it again when we return to Costa Rica. 5.00This was a fabulous experience for my husband and I. The perfect mix of luxury sailing, great home-cooked food, drinks and wildlife. I would recommend the full day experience for a relaxed tour of some great beaches and reef. Michelle and Clem are wonderful hosts and the crew member Carlos was instrumental in our snorkelling experience and finding some monkeys and turtles!

5.00We had a private half day tour with Captain Clem, Carlos and Michelle. They were knowledgeable, timely and professional. We had stops for snorkeling and swimming as well as to explore a lagoon. Food/ drinks were great.
