What To Expect
Iglesia de San Francisco
Built between the 16th and 18th centuries, and the first catholic cathedral of La Paz, this is one of the oldest buildings in the city. It’s conveniently located on Sagárnaga Street, close to a host of tourist hotspots, so you have no excuse. You'll be able to visit the church and get a lot of explanation.
Valley of the Moon
Away from the tumults of La Paz’s urban life, the valley of the moon is not a real valley, but a whole of strange geological formations, fairies, or snakes’ chimneys, leading to special shapes.

5.00Valery was my guide for this tour, and she was incredibly knowledgeable! I had a list of places I wanted to visit during my time in La Paz, but couldn’t figure out how to make the schedule work together. Booking this tour solved the problem, and was great because of Valerys ability to add in stories and facts about some of the locations. My favorite part was definitely the cable cars, and I also met some fun other travelers. Would definitely do this tour again the next time I’m back in La Paz.

2.00Decent overview of the city but unfortunately a terrible guide. They had zero enthusiasm, poor English and didn’t communicate with us outside of the entirely prepared script. The whole experience felt very awkward. They spoke in hushed voices, struggled to answer any further questions and wouldn’t make eye contact with us. It’s a real shame as La Paz looks like quite a cool city but we left feeling very underwhelmed.
