St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral
The St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is a Bulgarian Orthodox cathedral in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Built in Neo-Byzantine style, it serves as the cathedral church of the Patriarch of Bulgaria and it is believed to be one of the top 50 largest Christian church buildings in the world.
Saint Sofia Church
The Saint Sofia Church is the second oldest church in the Bulgarian capital Sofia, dating to the 4th century. In the predecessor building took place the Council of Serdica held most probably in 343 and attended by 316 bishops. In the 14th century, the church gave its name to the city, previously known as Sredets.

5.00We so much enjoyed this tour of Sofia. Chris was so knowleadgeable and he showed us a lot of hidden gems in the capital. We did almost 5 hours and it was excellent.
Disappointing to expect a car tour and be given a walking tour instead

2.00Though the guide was very good and informative, she didn’t have a vehicle and we had specifically reserved a driving tour with a “chauffeur” and also paid more for a driven tour so we ended up walking everywhere except for a short metro ride which we paid for in light of our mobility issues
