VINA VIK Winery
Depart at 07:30 from your Hotel in Santiago and drive for 2,30 hrs to Colchagua Valley arriving to VIK winery for Tour + Wine tasting at 10:00 hrs a unique VIK EXPERIENCE. We invite you to discover Millahue, “the place of gold,” in the Cachapoal Valley, home of the remarkable winery designed and built by architect Smiljan Radic in collaboration with Alex and Carrie Vik. Includes a glass of Milla Cala, a glass of La Piu Belle red, a glass of our iconic wine, VIK, and 2 varieties from the barrel (Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere).

LUNCH AT FRANCIS MALLMANN 'FUEGOS DE APALTA' One of the things not to be missed in the Colchagua Valley is lunch surrounded by the wonderful vines at the heart of our Finca de Apalta. All this, with the unparalleled seal of the renowned chef, Francis Mallmann and an extensive wine list where you can choose among the different vintages of Montes wines and others from the Colchagua Valley. The cuisine features meat, fish, and vegetables prepared with different types of fire in the specially designed dome located in the centre of the restaurant, where visitors can see how the ingredients are grilled, smoked, and baked in preparation for the dishes listed on the menu. You'll have the option to choose a la carte and pay for your own lunch. We'll take care of booking a table for you.

5.00We arrived in Santiago in early February 2026. We wanted an outstanding Chilean Wine experience. We chose Eco Tours (Cristian) to show us Vina Vik and Vina Montes - premium wine tastings and vineyard tours - together with a long lunch at Fuegos de Apalta (Mallmann). The right choice. Our driver was knowledgeable, careful, and engaging. These two are sensational vineyards. The wine is outstanding. (The La Piu Belle blend & the Purple Angel blend are just 2 to mention. Love the Carmenere grape.) Vineyard staff were very engaging and passionate. Lunch was excellent. Beautiful restaurant with an indoor grill and panoramic views across the vines. The four of us had a fantastic day. This was an excellent private tour.

5.00Our private tour to Montes and Viña VIK was absolute perfection from start to finish. Our guide and driver, Leo, was the ultimate professional—knowledgeable, attentive, and made the logistics of the day effortless. At Montes, our tour with Eric was deeply insightful, providing a great look into their iconic winemaking process. We also visited the breathtaking Viña VIK, where Catalina and Consuelo guided us through an unforgettable tasting in a truly stunning setting. A major highlight of the day was lunch at Fuegos de Apalta. Watching the chefs work over the open fire was a spectacle in itself. We had the Sea Bass and the Ribeye Steak, both cooked to perfection over the flames—the smoky flavors were incredible and paired beautifully with the local wines. This tour is a must for anyone visiting the region. Thank you to Leo and the entire team for a five-star experience!

5.00It was very worth seeing VIK and especially Montes, which exceeded our expectations. Despite the cost to go and go from Santiago, in addition to the distance - 3h and a half on average go and go and go in a private car with a driver - our feeling at the end was that it was very worth it!!! Exuberant landscapes, knowing these two wineries inside was special, and above all by the pleasant surprise of how we were welcomed in Montes, in addition to lunch in the middle of the vineyard at the Fuegos de Apalta Restaurant, which completed our experience. It was a pleasure to go back and spend a few days in this region of Chile!!

5.00We did the full day tour of two wineries: Vik and Montes. They are two of the best and the experiences at both are very interesting and informative. We got private tours at each one, with a delightful wine tasting experience. The lunch at Montes was also quite good. We felt welcome everywhere and well taken care of. Our driver Leo was on time, friendly, and very attentive. Would definitely use this company again when we go back to Chile. Very nice experience. Thank you, Cristian!
