  There is nothing like a local to show you the sites of their culture. This was an amazing experience traveling with 8 women for a week in Greece - from Athens to Santorini and in between. George is so knowledgeable and enjoys sharing his Greek heritage. He even provided us with some home made Greek food! This trip couldn't have been any better. Thank you!!!!

  We confidently declare this Athens trip the best ever! We were blown away by abundant wildlife: a majestic sea turtle, a rare octopus sighting, and mesmerizing schools of fish. The adventure was further enhanced by activities like rock jumping and snorkeling into a remarkable sea cave. Our guide, Denae, was exceptional. Her passion, knowledge, and engaging approach brought the marine ecosystem to life, providing valuable insights for everyone. This immersive experience stood out as a highlight of our Greece trip, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.

  George was consultative, charming, knowledgeable, and displayed deep care and diligence regarding safety, from making sure my son and daughter kept up their sunscreen, to all aspects of water safety. He also stopped the boat to pick up a piece of plastic he saw in the water. Great guy.

  Thanks to Extreme Divers we were able to have a lovely (absolutely lovely!) morning snorkeling and then for a visit to the Temple of Poseidon in the afternoon. George, our host was metifulous in his planning (it was a very windy day therefore everything had to be thought out before we begant the expedition) and also extremely knowlegeable on almost all subjects. We learned so much not just about the Sonion monument but also recent history of Greece along the way. Highly recommended!

  LOOOOVED THIS FABULOUS TOUR!!! Our guide, Evan, and our skipper, George, were both amazing! As me and my two friends booked a private tour, we got to snorkel to our heart’s content (we loooove snorkeling!!!)) and even snorkeled inside an amazing cave before heading to Poseidon’s Temple. Evan and George were completely invested in our safety, as well as making sure we had the very best time! The water was a bit choppy in areas because the wind was blowing an unusual direction that particular day, and so they just chose different spots for us to swim/snorkel to make sure all was perfect. Evan even had a go pro camera and took some truly beautiful shots of us in the water that I will treasure forever. We loooved every minute of it so much we ended up booking a second tour with Extreme Divers right away, for another private boat tour a couple of days later. Needless to say, I highly recommend Extreme Divers!!!!

  

  

  

• Poseidon’s Temple from the Sea

  George was a fantastic host and very knowledgeable. Flexed schedule towards what we wanted to do. Danae was very nice picking us up. George had George our captain, take the boat to see the Temple of Poseidon first. Great views of the historic site. Then we went to a hidden cave and finally to a place to swim and snorkel. Great day with great people. Listen to George’s cd of his band. Very good! Thanks!

• Family Favorite for Our Trip to Athens

  This was everyone in my family's (2 parents, 2 tweens and an almost 8 yr old) favorite tour we took in Athens. George made us feel like old friends. He was friendly, informative and engaging. The skipper was also kind and helpful. The wind conditions on the water would have made it difficult to sail to Poseidon's temple that day. Instead, we snorkeled, swam and paddle boarded in a beautiful spot closer to Athens proper. We even saw a sunken ship wreck. It was hard to get everyone out of the water after hours of fun. We then headed back to port and drove the scenic route along the water to Poseidon's Temple. George shared some interesting lesser known WWII history along the way and stopped at monument to Italian Soldiers that were killed by the Germans after their surrender at the end of WWII. We then went to the Temple of Poseidon at Sounio. It was extremely windy, but the views were breath taken. I would highly recommend this tour and will definitely do it or something else with George and Extreme Divers again, if/when we return to Athens.

  George was outstanding! We could not have asked for a better time while visiting Greece. George coordinated everything perfectly from start to finish and treated us like family. I cannot say enough about his hospitality. 100% five stares and would give more if I could. Thank you George!!!!

  We did two separate excursions with George. Our group had a variety of needs and George met and exceeded them all. We had an experienced diver, a few snorkelers and a few that needed additional assistance and George was knowledgeable and prepared for it all. The boat and equipment were well maintained, he took us to secluded and beautiful locations that fit all of our needs and always had our safety in mind. The second day with George took us to cities that were highly recommended by him and other we spoke to and definitely would not have been on any other tour website. He was funny, engaging and full of information. It is very evident that he not only loves his country but also loves his job. I’m already working on plans to return with my daughter and will absolutely be booking him again.

  Great experience. Everything was done safely with our small girls. They had a blast. They took us out to a secluded cove that was protected by the waves and had a small beach. They even brought a SUP to play with. Then we went to the temple of Poseidon which had magnificent views. George and skipper George took very good care of us.
