What To Expect
Meiji Jingu Shrine
Meiji Jingu Shrine is one of Tokyo's most iconic and significant Shinto shrines, located in Harajuku. We'll walk together to the main building of Meiji Jingu Shrine while learning about the culture and history. We'll also learn about some Japanese traditional rituals.
Takeshita Street
Following the Meiji Jingu Shrine we will head to Harajuku, taking the famous & colorful Takeshita Street. Takeshita Street is a bustling and iconic shopping street located in the Harajuku district of Tokyo and tons of shopping & food opportunities. (Find rainbow cotton candy or poo ice cream)

My husband and i enjoyed every minute from the beautiful sights and famous landmarks to the small insights about the Japanese culture and customs, it truly was the perfect way to start our trip in Japan. Not only did Jero show us a lot about what Japan has to offer, but he left us with a great intro to navigating the city on our own. Ensuring we make the most of our time in Japan.

5.00The tour with Jérôme was very varied. First, single-layered and spiritual outline concerning Shinto. Afterwards we went to Takeshita Street and saw the extravagant. After that, continue through Harajuku to Cat Street and Shibuya with the Shibuya junction then Jerome showed us how to get to Shinjuku by ring train. Godzilla and beautiful yocho. A highly recommended tour..

5.00This has been a highlight of my trip. Jero is a very knowledgeable and gracious person who prides himself on service as well as creating a great experience. We covered a lot of territory during our tour. Not only did I learn about some hstory of Japan and about key landmarks, I also learned some interesting facts about local life and cultural norms. We visited some very unique spots that are a must see. Additionally, I was thankful that I never felt rushed. We even stopped for coffee. I highly recommend Jero.

5.00We were two couples, one of which was in Japan for the first time and the other had been previously. Jero's tour was impactful for both! He is incredibly knowledgeable, and I'm particularly glad this was the first thing we did when we got to Japan. He's also a good photographer and made sure we had some really good photos. (The one attached I took myself). We came away with information and context that set up our entire vacation. Because it was a private tour, it was the right pace, and it felt like we were visiting an old friend in a new city. Jero took us to "must see" places as well as quiet, hidden gems and provided historical and cultural context for everything we saw. Came away with lots of tips and hacks as well!
