  Don't be afraid to book a non-cruise line affiliated tour with Roatan Fun Tours. We decided to "take the risk" and I am SO GLAD we did because Guillermo delivered us the day of my dreams! Booking a private customized tour allowed us to choose the specific things we wanted to see (iguanas, sloths/monkeys/macaws, Stone Castle Cameo Factory), and our small group size afforded us a more intimate experience at each of the places we went. We were able to spend as much or as little time as we wanted doing each activity and we were delivered back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. We seriously had the perfect day, complete with a photo op visit to the Roatan sign and a roadside stop for a Rockstar energy drink (not available on our ship). Thank you Guillermo and Roatan Fun Tours for going above and beyond expectation! We will definitely do this again next time.

  This experience on our 3/25/26 visit with one of the brothers he gave us a genuine look into the real Roatán not just the tourist side, but the heart of the community. We were able to see how locals live, learn about their way of life, and gain a deeper appreciation for the island and its people. It felt authentic, personal, and meaningful—exactly what we were hoping for. We will definitely be booking again in the near future!

  I decided to go with this company after my sister recommended them and I read the reviews! The booking process was easy and communication was great! We met right outside the cruise port and were quickly on our way ( way ahead of the cruise excursion folks -still lined up for busses) Big J ( Jeveon) was the best!! It was just me and my mom and he immediately made us feel at ease! He was so friendly & pleasant! He was happy to answer any questions we had and even took our photos for us! He made sure we saw all the things we wanted to see and then some. We ended up seeing the monkeys and sloths at Manawakie Park, shopping for trinkets, checking out several view points and wrapping the day up at Brady’s Cay. I would 100% recommend Big J for all your tour needs! He felt like family by the end of the day! When we go back - I’m definitely using this tour group again! Professional, courtesy, kind, prompt and friendly- you can’t go wrong!

  Overall experience was we had a great day!! Big J was our driver/guide and we all really liked him. We had 6 adults and one 5 yr old. Initially we wanted to do Sloths, iguanas and west bay beach. We ended up going by J’s suggestion. A cool lookout point that had an option for shopping ( we haggled prices and left happy) sloths/ monkeys/ macaws 🦜 were next. $20 a person. We loved every minute of it and did not know we were going to get as close as we did to the animals so it was worth every penny to me. My aunt opted not to go into the park so she waited with the drivers and chit chatted. All the staff were really nice at this park. Next was the iguanas 3 of our members stayed back for this one ( but in our opinion they really missed out) $10 per person this was another spot we loved! Also we could have stayed longer since our 5 yr old had a great time feeding the iguanas. After thet big J said he had somewhere special for us. It turned out to be Brady’s cay they had different package options and we all chose the $25 per person fee. We were not sure what to think since we did not factor that into our trip ahead of time but we ended up liking it and I would probably choose to go back on a future trip. They had this amazing little private walking trail at the end of the island that opened up to such a fun view. (you should take water shoes to this private) all our food we ordered was good. Bucket of beer was reasonably priced. The only one thing I would say that did not work out to well was the Van we were in at first glance looked cool but the way the seating was designed made us feel like we were sardines. It was kinda hard on the older folks in our group.   Jeffrey is great! We keep changing our plans and Jeffrey was ready for whatever we wanted to do. Thank you so much for showing our family a great time in Routan. This was our third time to use Roatan Fun Tours, and won’t be our last.

  Went on a private trip with Big Jay, he was great to have as a guide. Took us to the places we wanted to go and after we all went to lunch. We had 4 hours and used that up probably could have used a couple of more hours but maybe next time. Well worth it and we thought very reasonably priced.

  This is an ideal way to see the hilights of the Island. You can choose where you go or leave it up to your expert driver. Get a feel of life in Roatan and opportunities to take pictures from view points. See the monkeys and sloth at a monkey sanctuary. Visit some rum and rumcake factories to taste the famous Roatan rum and taste the rumcake.

  Booked a private driver to tour spots on the island. Guillermo was fantastic, fun, and very informative about the island and answered questions we had about what we were seeing. We went to the Roatan Island Brewery, two rum tastings, and a chocolate maker before taking us back to the port. Guillermo was courteous, prompt, and entertaining. We'll definitely ask for him again when we go back to Roatan.
