Pamukkale and Hiearapolis Tour. from ANTALYA !Hierapolis (“Holy City”) was an ancient Greco-Roamn city in Phrygia located on hot springs in South West Anatolia. Its ruins are adjacent to maodern Pamukkale.
Hierapolis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hot springs there have been used as a spa since the 2nd Century B.C.E. and people came to soothe their ailments with many of them retiring or dying here.
Some of the highlights; the large necropolis is filled with sarcophagi, the main street with the gates and latrines, cathedral, the theatre and St. Philips tomb. The hot springs causing cascades which are called the Cotton Castle.
Because of the distance we have to leave Antalya early and return late but its worth it to experince this wonderful place.

5.00Except the brochure information that is to change, everything was wonderful. The receptionnist made arrangements for me, I could rent a bike to go around, he had a big smile all the time. Akhan (Joker), had so many knowledge to share on the country, from geology to history, good plans and where to purchase the best souvenirs, but also all the religious meanings of the place and uses throught the ages. Amer was a good driver, took care of us and our belongings. This whole team did an amazing job, well done!
A nicely guided day trip to Pamukkale

5.00We were visiting Kaleici for a week and on the first day as we were walking in the old town, just by chance found the U Can Travel office. As we had a plan to make a day trip to Pamukkale and Hierapolis my wife and I thought of going in and check. A friendly young man (Mr Anil G) was in the office and we talked about our plans and finally with all the encouraging info we got from him we booked the private trip without a guide for the Saturday. A polite and courteous Mr. Gurkan (our dirver) picked us from the hotel on Saturday morning and we had an excellent time that day. He was also a good guide and knew the place very well. Both Hierapolis and Pamukkale were fascinating and beautiful in their on ways and we had all the time to explore the two places. The advantage of the private trip was that we could stop whenever we wanted, for an old couple that was really helpful, moreover there was no pressure with time. And the trip included Lunch (which was in nice place on the way and had an excellent choice of food) and entrance to the sites. Private trip was obviously and bit more expensive than the group tours but we think it was worth the cost. Many thanks to both Mr Anil and Mr Gurkan for the excellent day trip.

5.00It is one of the best offices we found. Very good service and even a tour. We had a free day, we asked for a guide for 8 hours, he gave us a tour for 12 hours without any extra charge, he showed us beautiful places, he also took us to a point that we liked on our way without having it in the program. You mean that next time I will prefer them again and again

5.00This was a wonderful experience visiting Hierapolis and pamukkale, I highly recommend this tour, great driver comfortable vehicle and the most informative tour guide ever, Batuhan, he was so professional and has so much knowledge of the area, he clearly loves what he does. He went out of his way to make everyone comfortable, plus the lunch was fabulous

5.00We bought the tour by accident, we walked the streets. And then we stopped by for prices and tour dates for the coming days. We were so well shown, explained on each tour, that we even agreed to go even the next day. The tour was a one-day in Pamukalla. Transfer, guide, lunch included. The trip was easy. The road, nice, beautiful scenery, the mountains are super. They took a lot of pictures when they arrived. It's beautiful, it's clean. Cleopatra's pool is wonderful. I didn't want to leave the pool. Thank you very much to the tour operator, guide and driver!
