Park and National Palace of Pena
You won't soon forget discovering the wonder that is the Romantic palace from the 19th century. It's among the greatest spots for photos, it is located on top of mountain with a great view.
Palacio Nacional e Jardins de Queluz
Queluz's National Palace Originally a hunting lodge in the 17th century, this palace has been converted into a rococo-style summer residence. The magnificent palace gardens are adorned with fountains and statues. A real refinement that transports us to opulent, courtly times centuries ago.

5.00This private skip the line Sintra tour was wonderful. We're a family of 4 traveling with our elderly mom with mobility issues. Our tour guide, Mehdi , was amazing in accommodating to my mom's mobility issues. We were very happy with the skip the line as we were able to bypass the lines during visit to the Pena Palace, which saves us time. Medhi gave us a great recommendation for a spot to do lunch in Sintra. It was better than the meals we had at Lisbon. Sintra is definitely worth the visit from Lisbon. Thank you so much for a wonderful tour.

5.00Our guide Medi was really fabulous in that he provided a great deal of historical context at each site we visited. I visited a couple of the places on my own with a tour book several years ago, and I learned so much more from Medi. Also, Medi is very friendly and personable, and he tailored our day together to meet our needs and expectations. Having Medi also allowed us to skip the lines to enter crowded sites, which saved us a lot of time at each site. Highly recommended!

5.00Our guide, Miguel, was positively fantastic! He’s an expert on the history of Portugal and a very good communicator. His personality is warm and inviting. His driving is expert also. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a fulfilling enriching experience. Miguel is a native of Portugal and is a warm kind person who gives 100% to his role as guide and driver.

5.00Excellent design of the itinerary. Sintra is so crowded and hilly. Our tour guide Miguel was able to lead us to beat the crowds. We saw everything we wanted and didn’t feel too tired after the whole day touring. He is knowledgeable, friendly and fluent in English. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00We had the most wonderful day exploring Sintra, Pena Palace, and the surrounding area with Edi as our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much history and insight in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. What really stood out was how relaxed and enjoyable the entire experience felt. Edi created such a comfortable atmosphere, allowing us to take everything in at our own pace while still making sure we didn’t miss any highlights. It truly felt like we were spending the day with a friend who just happened to know everything about the area. This tour ended up being one of the highlights of our trip, and we’re so grateful to have had Edi as our guide. Highly recommend!

5.00My husband and I had the pleasure of touring with Miguel for this entire fantastic day. Miguel was the most gracious and hospitable host and we learned so much from him. He took us to so many places which allowed us to see different areas of Portugal and yet it didn’t feel rushed or compacted. And Miguel seemed to know every breath-taking viewpoint. Of all the tours I have taken through Viator and in different countries, this one topped the list and I would gladly rate it as 10 stars. A day that will be forever seared in my memories and if you are lucky enough to get Miguel, even better!
