You won't soon forget discovering the wonder that is the Romantic palace from the 19th century. It's among the greatest spots for photos, it is located on top of mountain with a great view.
Palacio Nacional e Jardins de Queluz
Queluz's National Palace Originally a hunting lodge in the 17th century, this palace has been converted into a rococo-style summer residence. The magnificent palace gardens are adorned with fountains and statues. A real refinement that transports us to opulent, courtly times centuries ago.

5.00I’ll start by saying I’ve generally had middling experiences with tour guides. Often they can be too heavy handed, too serious, too tedious. But all I can say is Medhi is far and away the best guide I’ve ever had. He drove us around the beautiful mountainside of Sintra for over 9 hours, taking us to every major site, and explaining the rich history and hidden lore of each place we visited with passion, humor, and intrigue. We came away from this experience far more knowledgeable than when we went in, and in the process by the end we felt like we made a close friend. If you’re looking for a guide on your trip through Portugal, I would not book anyone else. Thank you Medhi for the truly special experience! Highly highly recommend.

5.00My husband, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour in early May. Our tour guide. Miguel, is a local and was very knowledgeable about the area and its history, and gave us plenty of interesting information about places visited. The day was well-organised so that we were able to visit Sintra old town, Pena Palace, Quinta de Regaleira, Cabo da Roca and Cascais without feeling rushed. I had some mobility issues at that time and I appreciated Miguel’s thoughtulness and assistance getting in and out of the car, and making sure I was comfortable throughout. When he learned that we were heading for Porto the next day, he even sent us a personalised list of spots to check out, which we found very helpful. I highly recommend this tour and Miguel as a guide.

5.00Miguel was great. He pre-arranged all the tickets and allowed flexibility in our schedule. He was always eager to take pictures for us. He dropped us off as close to our destination as possible, so we did less walking than I was expecting. He explained everything that we were seeing. He really knows Portuguese history. And he is a great and friendly guy. Definitely book this tour and you will not be disappointed.

Miguel made the trip fun, interesting, and seamless from start to finish, and he truly made us feel like VIPs. 5.00We had a wonderful private full day tour with Mehdi. He picked us up at our borrowed apartment in Lisbon and we went to Sintra. His having arranged for tickets for 2 of the sites ahead of time was fantastic. It was a national holiday and all sold out. The best thing about the tour was Mehdi's enthusiasm and depth of historical knowledge. We got so much out of our day even though we covered so much relatively quickly. He even explained how cork is harvested! His main concern was that we were having a good time and he succeeded. Even his lunch suggestion was perfect. I would recommend Mehdi to anyone.
